@matiasjanssen508 Жыл бұрын
This is underrated for many, but for me, it's one of my favourite interactions between Walt and Jesse, because it proves that in this fourth season the relationship of these two was turbulent. Gus manipulated Jesse so Walt can't use him to conspire against him, and the whole scenario was difficult not only for Walt, but for Jesse, because he was unsure on who he can trust: the person who used him from the beggining but was the closest thing as a father figure for him, or someone who, despite wanting to kill him in previous occasions, told him he saw potential on him? Walt tracking his moves felt like a betrayal for Pinkman, because Heisenberg only cared for himself and his life for the whole season (which is true), but let's not forget that Fring knew Walt was smart enough to figure out his plan, but Walt sounded selfish saying: "It's all about me" to his pupile. Jesse thought once more that White saw him as an imbecile and didn't care, and this fight between the two was the drop that filled the glass, because Jesse only wanted an advice from his partner to deal with the Cartel problem, but Mr. White only told him he knew that he wasn't doing what he was told, and told him to "screw things up as always", so...
@Fujikorific2 жыл бұрын
I love how they said such hateful shit to each other in this scene and then Walt proceeded to weep with regret, worry and fret over Jesse's fate in Mexico for the following two episodes while Jesse channeled his inner asshole Mr. White with the cartel and stood up to Gus multiple times over Walt's fate. It's like these two are categorically incapable of expressing their deep, effed up attachment to one another to each other but will go ride or die when anyone else threatens them.
