The relationship of these two were so much complexe.They obviously cared about eachother even if most of the times they didn't see it themselves They shared a real connection.They drove eachother crazy ,they hurt eachother,they confided to eachother ,they challenged eachother , they surprised eachother, they betrayed eachother , they fought many times,they were close to death together so many times.They shared so much good &bad moments together.And despite everythings they never been able to be done with the other. That it was fate or by their will, they always got back to eachother.But more important ,at the moments where they could kill the other ,they couldn't do it because at these very moment ,they realized their connection.

albuchi In Walt's eyes, Jesse had betrayed him by working with Hank and snitching on him. Because Walt loved him he was obviously hurt by what Jesse had done. For Walt to hate Jesse that much at this point he had to love him. Betrayal hurts a hell of a lot more when it comes from someone you really love and care about. Since Jesse had pretty much crushed him there he really just wanted Jesse to feel as much pain as he was feeling at the time and he also felt as though Jesse was responsible for Hank's death.

I really enjoyed those moments, when Walter saves Jesse. Whenever is the bad guy or is angry at him, he always saves Jesse, like a son.

Yeah but even in the finale he did save Jesse after he was tortured. He could of let him die but instead pushed him over to stop him getting shot because he realised how much he cared about him.

Only after he saw that Jesse was not using his formula for profit as Walt thought, instead he got enslaved because of Walt's actions, did he change his mind. Now whether it was out of love or guilt is up for interpretation, but as I said - since Walt was completely ok with Jesse getting tortured before, I think it was just pure, old fashioned guilt.

** I’m aware this comment is 8 years old.. Jesse isn’t underrated. Personally, I think he was better than Walter in terms of acting. The only reason Walter stands out more is because of his relatable character arc, not many people can relate to a drug addict and the life that comes with it because not everyone has witnessed the effects it has on themselves or their family. That’s not to say that people don’t relate to Jesse as a character but they just don’t understand it the same way they do with Walter. Many people experience someone die or live with cancer in their lifetime and almost anyone can relate to it - who can say they wouldn’t make similar choices for the betterment of their family (not as extreme obviously). Jesse stands out because of his integrity as opposed to Walter who completely loses his as the show progresses. Aside from that, I think this is the best edit for Breaking Bad out there even if the song is a little dramatic, it still fits the tone of the show perfectly.

Walt did not really care about Jesse. He was happy to use him, and he loved having control over him, but as soon as Jesse was no longer of use to him, Walt would have happily discarded him like yesterday's garbage. Mike, on the other hand, did care about Jesse. And he saw how Walt manipulated Jesse, and he even said right out that Walt was trouble, but also acknowledged that Jesse couldn't see it, and expressed sorrow for that fact. And it seems that Jesse saw Mike almost as a father figure, given how tore up he was when he figured out Walt killed Mike.

I understood part way through these last eight episodes that the relationship was irreparable but I just wanted them to have some moment of understanding and respect for each other. That final scene where they trade nods does almost nothing but accomplishes everything. IT's beautiful. Walt's last act is to take a bullet and save Jesse.

One little tip I may give you is somethimes you get a little too literal I think, like with ''I would have stayed up with you all night'' is more meant talking with someone for a very long time instead of just being awake at night, at that point, some other scenes might've worked better than the one with just Walt lying in bed.
