You’re goddamn right.
Can you believe it’s been a decade since the show aired its final episode, Felina? We can’t either. In fact it makes us feel ill, and old, and a little scared. But it’s true. Ten years since Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, Bob Odenkir, Giancarlo Esposito, Jonathan Banks, Vince Gilligan, Michelle MacLaren, Skip Macdonald, Peter Gould and the gang thrilled, terrified, amused and had us on the edge of our seats through tales of blue substances, cartel hits, exploding wheelchairs, fried chicken, murderous twins, rocks (sorry, minerals) and bacon (OK Walt Jr you can have your breakfast now). Nine plus one years since Rian Johnson broke our brains with Ozymandias. Eleven minus one years since Lydia, Todd and Uncle Jack.
Happily it wasn’t the last time we saw Badger or Skinny Pete. And we’re still holding out for their spin-off series.
Even now, with Better Call Saul and El Camino and another five plus five years of prestige TV under our belts, from Yellowjackets Season Two to Succession Season Four via The White Lotus and The Last Of Us, is it still the best ever? Does it remain the GOAT?

@@mohdziyad9151 it’s “too complexed for you” 🤔that’s an interesting criticism. However it’s the reason why I put the wire over every show that ever existed. The layared writing, social commentary, message, nuances etc… along with incredible dialogue, a large plethora of charismatic and complexed characters, great acting, and great works building. It’s just the best ever and it’s not even close. Breaking ad is also one of my favorite shows ever, but in no way should it ever be ranked above the wire. It’s just not even a conversation for me. Breaking bad is a top ten show though imo it’s phenomenal as well.

I feel the same way and I've heard that assessment before in reviews. Honestly it's better had they just cut her out. She's not even in for interrogation for Saul's capture despite the fact that she's an accomplice to his crimes too. If Walt was a widow you can get the same results but less fluff and Marie can take the kids. It makes my skin scrawl knowing that skyler still has custody, like that's going to end well

In my opinion I think the writing or the whole show in general of Better Call Saul was way better for example when Saul was freaking out thinking he was gonna get killed by Nacho I don't think those were characters or a prequel show was even thought up yet to be able to be so well detailed with a prequel show that makes the original show make sense is insane to me plus it made us appreciate characters so much more.

Probably my favorite episodic show of all time, The Twilight Zone probably the only I’d rank ahead. There were some silly moments like the giant magnet, but overall the show is absolutely spectacular. Flawless in just about every way. If Im being honest, I never got into Better Caul Saul, but El Camino was the perfect ending that we needed. Gave us clarity and kind of halted the desire for more. Seeing Walt go from 0-100 was handled extremely delicately. When it gets the the point where you start rooting for his demise, you realize the mastery of the writing. You’re pulling for this dude for 4 seasons and even overlooking some of the bad things he’s done since we see his perspective on everything, but there reaches a point where the audience can no longer sympathize. One of my favorite scenes is where even Walt Jr. Tells him to leave. Masterpiece of a series

Good question man, that’s a pretty tough question. Wouldn’t be able to put them in any sort of an order, but they’d have to be: Breaking Bad, The Twilight Zone, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld, Avatar the Last Airbender, Batman Beyond, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, South Park, Shameless, and Six Feet Under with Honorable Mentions being Nathan For You, The Mandalorian, Weeds, Mystery Science Theater 3000 & Daredevil. There’s a TON I haven’t seen and need to watch, but those are my favorites as of now. I need to finish Mad Men and then The Boys is next on my list!

breaking bad is nearly perfect, but the wire in my opinion is the better show. considering all the moving parts that show had to perfect end the show by basically showing you history repeating was kind of the perfect bitter sweet ending cause you know life keeps going on for those characters and you can sort of see how things play out 5, 10, 20 years down the track because the faces may change, but the game will always be the game.

As a watcher of both series, I was more hooked with BB and felt it just gradually got better with each season. I also believe it’s the better series because it lead to spinoff series that is great in its own right and can stand alone

BCS is better for a few reasons, more character build on Saul & Mike. Lots of Mike, great Cartel characters and the worlds colliding. (Not to mention the better cinematography)

I think bb is better slightly while bcs has deeper character arcs imo I think the plot and world building of bb slightly edges it out along with better pacing and ending while I think the writing quality is the same . But bcs and bb are in a tier of their own imo
