Very good video, but I would heavily appreciate a less bright choice of color scheme, like the one Total synthesis has

Thank you for the feedback! I appreciate your suggestion about the color scheme. I’ll definitely consider a softer palette for future videos to make the viewing experience more comfortable. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts! 😊🎨

Very cool! Can I ask you what program are you using for 3D modeling of structures?
@Chemicator2 ай бұрын
Thank you very much! First, I build molecules in GaussView, then import them into the Blender for animation.

@@Chemicator Can I ask you if according to you is possible to do with free versions of these two software? Which version of GaussView do you use? Can you explain how you can make this beautiful structures? Thank you so much!

@@berzelius8568 Blender is free software, and you can download the latest version from here. 👉 www.blender.org/ also you can use free tutorials on KZbin👉 kzbin.info/www/bejne/sImtfIysqqiDj7s&pp=ygUZZHJhdyBtb2xlY3VsZXMgaW4gYmxlbmRlcg%3D%3D I use Gaussview 6 to build molecules. Unfortunately, a free version of it is not available. If you are a student, your university might have a license. So you can use it for free.

At 03:50, you lost a couple of carbon atoms between steps 2-4 (reduction, mesylation, azide formation). You draw the azides as secondary, when they should be primary.

Thank you for catching that! I appreciate your keen eye for detail. I'll make sure to correct it and be more careful in future videos. Your feedback helps me improve! 😊🔬✨
