What good are baseball fields/diamonds for Bear fans coming in from the suburbs? Basically all the Bears fans are getting is a stadium. No real entertainment district or resturants to eat at. The vast majority of money comes from the suburban fans not from the Chicago fans. Bears go forward with this they basically relegated themselves to giving people an average stadium/fan experience.

Just a guess, but they can do lots of underground parking like what's under the Mc East building. You can also have other parking spots that might be a little farther away but have a shuttle system to move you from them to the stadium.

Should have committed to building this new stadium and the amenities out in Arlington Heights! 1) Same issues as Solider Field > where are people suppose to park/tailgate? Lack of streets/exits with all the heavy traffic to where it will take hours for fans even from the suburbs to probably find a parking spot and then walk to the stadium (repeat again once they have to go back home to the suburbs after the game!) 2) You want to bet on the Chicago lakefront weather to cooperate during the months of November to February for the outdoor amenities, vendors, fans, etc. especially for a potential Super Bowl host? OK, be my guest, but don't say I didn't warn you! 3) While the politicians and Bears are saying there won't be any new taxes, if there's anything to learn from politics, don't take any politicians promise (either party, doesn't matter) for granted when it comes to taxes plain & simple!

Underground parking where the former stadium was, probably underground parking under the new stadium, probably some shuttles. I wouldn’t expect much. The two baseball fields are a waste and unlikely to get used, the soccer field as well, there is no seating for them. I like the idea, and the design, but, this isn’t going to cost 3.6 billion, this is gonna cost way more, and with current interest rates? Probably 4.9 Billion, and we will most definitely be getting taxes for it.

Ill reserve judgment for now but this looks like 100% failure from a business standpoint. Still wont own our own stadium not to mentionthe logisticsal nightmare. Avg household income in the city is like $55k, avg. household income in the suburbs is like $125K give or take. Bears go forward with this plan the Bears will be forever relegated to an average NFL team/stadium/fan experience at best. Chicago Bears as usual, would blow the opportunity to chase greatness by foregoing the chance to build a much better stadium/entertainment villiage in AH.
