The chorus reminds me of some of the stuff on dear agony while it’s not as sad per say the lower part of the chorus sounds like something of dear agony or phobia

This new Breaking Benjamin song was a pleasant surprise. They’ve always been a childhood favorite band of mine. This new song is decent and it’s got me anticipated for the upcoming album.

I get ember with dark before dawn mixed in I also hope far away ends up on the new album An if we’re talking specific songs it reminds me of the dark of you for whatever reason even though the song isn’t a ballad

BB is one of those bands that can keep doing the same album/sound, and chances are most fans wouldn't really be bothered. Their music is great after all. However, I absolutely agree with you, BB needs to experiment more. I also felt that the guitars were a little more on the metal side as well.

I personally think they should stick to their usual formula but sprinkling a little new here and there wouldn't hurt but overall I think they would flourish the best with their original style.

Yeah its a really good song for what it is classic breaking Benjamin for sure cant wait for the upcoming album in 2025 sometime i agree with most of your points i think breaking benjamin does need to do a little more experimenting with their sound but if this is the sound were getting i still think itll be a strong record nonetheless good review zach

Song is good. It's obviously not the best song of their career or anything like that, but as a progression from their previous material with the new lineup it is promising. It is uber-typical in the songwriting but the production and musicianship is a step up from past albums. It's a solid introduction to the new album for sure. In terms of mainstream rock alone, this should be a shining example of actual good music from the format, even though the men in this band are headed towards being 50 years old which is hard to believe. And, I can see this album being not too dissimilar to the other two albums, and if that happens, it'll be like a band that comes back to the music landscape to remind us who they are and with that it will be a bit of a refreshment for sure.

I don’t see anything wrong with them sticking to their roots. Some bands want to stay to their sound, but I think a band like Bring Me The Horizon is a perfect example of thinking outside the box. If they can do that, it would be great, but I just think Breaking Benjamin wants to stay true to their sound and I’ve kinda grown into loving that from them. I wouldn’t be mad if they changed things up though!
