Perhaps, if Epiphone and Gibson didn't want your arm, a leg, and a loosely written contract to name your first born, to buy a commemorative piece, there wouldn't be a knock-off market.

Guy, I'm a retired (might not stay that way) pro guitarist, I've been playing 50 years, and I LOVE inexpensive guitars like Fireflys. They look and play great, often sound great, mod easily, and have great bones, you can do the rest yourself. There's really only a small handful of guitars I'd be willing to spend a grand or over on, and in more than one case that's more a personal thing than based on any concrete scientific reason.

Incredible quality for the price. But one day we'll cry when there's not 1 guitar brick n mortar, or American made & employing product left in the USA. I'm not anti import, or decent entry level guitars for beginner or budget players, but maybe sometimes things are "too cheap". Maybe I'm an old man shouting at the sky, but if someone isn't 60+, they can't remember the decline of USA MFG. So much is already gone. When is the last time you bought any "durable goods" that said "Made in USA". Great Video Max, & a really nice guitar. Your product reviews are priceless. ✌️🎶🎸🔥

I just bought my 2nd The MadCat Tele and it’s one of the best guitars in my “Guitars under $800 collection” I have 31 now thanks to Max and these budget guitar companies offering such outstanding product for less. I’ve said it in many comment sections and I’ll say it again, The last few years have completely changed the landscape of the guitar world. The factories that once couldn’t exist because computer design software and CNC machines expensive costs now have the tech and equipment to produce what only the Big Brands were able to make and sell for hefty prices. The gift to us is, no more hefty prices and every bit of quality and reliability in the guitars! We are SO LUCKY TO HAVE WHAT WE ARE OFFERED THESE DAYS!

Weird 16" radius or so from what Ive measured but feels amazing. Never would buy it if I knew but glad I did. Added push pulls tones for coil split for the new dimarzio fortitude bridge and tonerider AC4 classic neck. Couple high frets spot leveled and on to amazing feel, sustain and tone. Love this thing 🤘

It sounds amazing, and no joke, I pick it up every single day while my nicer guitars sit on the rack. That guitar cost me like 200 dollars used and I absolutely love the thing. I play it through a Katana mk2 100 and marshal mx1x12. That set up sounds as good as most and was put together for under a grand. My AC30, DSL doest even get touched latley. I mean _daaaayyyumm,_ this guitar sounds WICKED. The minor issues it does have are pretty easy to correct, like that tiny dose of fret buzz in the 7-12th area: that is right where you said your personal 'go to' setup would be for a slight cup, or relief, in that area. I do believe that would fix the fret buzz. Man I'm impressed, both by the Firefly & by your ability to deliver a coherent, insightful analysis of a guitar with no overdubbing, no script, & no bullshit. Just for my few poker chips tossed in, I would love to see you do more like this. Awesome job bruh!🎸🤟

I'm a big fan of Firefly guitars. Now, the first thing I always heard from newbie guitarist was , "Oooooh.. The pickups are microphonic". OK, if the pickups are highly microphonic then that's a bad thing but they actually are potted but between the pickup covers and the bobbins, they are not potted. What I have noticed over my 60 years of playing is that a slight bit of microphonics is actually not so bad because it picks up the natural vibrations from the body and blends them in with the sound from the pickups. My Firefly is the Greenburst copy of the ES 335. I did a complete setup on my $139.99 guitar and sounds and plays great. No, I did not pot the pickup covers to the bobbins. All my guitar buddies drool over how it looks and sounds. I happened to have a black Stop Tailpiece and a black Roller Bridge in my parts box so I did swap them out. There were no Locking tuners on mine but they were 16:1 ratio tuners and that was great because I hate locking tuners and I will not allow myself to own a guitar with tuners that are at or less than 12:1 ratio.
