This is a song I really relate to. It’s obviously about someone suffering severe emotional or physical pain and just wants to end it all. The person is asking the pain and anguish they feel to let go of them, basically stating that they’re ready to die and to stop hurting. They would rather die than live in a world where they are slowly suffering. They have found the perfect end and wish to be carried into heavens arms. Once they enter heaven they feel nothing anymore.The Agony is gone.

Collin Gillespie He still suffers from the effects of alcoholism and the MANY phobias he's tried to deal with over the course of his life. One main one is water. I love breaking Benjamin! They were the first band I listened to when getting into rock. My older brother had shown me their song "so cold" and I went looking for their songs. Awesome reaction, man. I always like hearing your thoughts on songs. Just to let you know, this song, and the entire album it comes from, was writtten when the lead singer, Benjamin Burnley, stopped drinking. He used to be a heavy drinker, but after one extremely heavy night of drinking messed him up, he decided to quit, and as a result, this album was written. I'm not sure if this actually is the case, but I think he might have written this song/album while going through withdrawal. Maybe not, but that's what I think when I hear the lyrics.

To me, and I may be wrong, this song is about a person's thoughts and mindset while struggling with negativity, anger, sorrow, depression and regret. The lyrics would make sense as an argument between mind and heart in a person whose thoughts are in turmoil and emotions are devastated. A plea for freedom from it, and determination to see SOMETHING more just once.

This song was always my go-to when times got hard, heavy alcohol abuser, coupled with xanax, ecstasy, valium, for at least 4-5 years. My short term memory is completely shot but your videos help put a smile on my face.
