What an awesome interview! Love seeing the personal, reminiscent things. My dad's from Montrose. I asked him if he remembered the English Town thing and he said he'd gone once. Ben... please, please, PLEASE let us know when you'll be there! I WILL make the trip. You're my biggest influence musically and I'd love to get a chance to meet you. Selfish plug...I'll be at the Raleigh NC show, unfortunately in lawn (due to finances). You have no idea how much you and your lyrics have impacted my life. I really relate to Ben's comments about his childhood at the flea market, my family use to sell at the flea markets too. @@mayrapriddy7688 yeah he's suffered alot of health issues due to his excessive alcohol abuse, he's done some irreparable damage to his brain and body. He has almost drank himself to death more than once. Thank God he's clean and sober and has a wife and son that help keep him that way. And yes you're right, Dear Agony is the 1st album he recorded sober, and the song Dear Agony is about his struggle with alcoholism.
