My taste in music has evolved a lot since i first got into rock music, i went from Punk Rock as a child, to Metalcore and Power Metal now (i´m 29), but when i first listened to BB in the soundtrack of Halo 2, i really like that song, then i listen to The Diary Of Jane and i totally fell in love with that sound, and they´ve been my favorite band since then. I was so happy when my favorite band returned with Dark Before Dawn that i have a son named Benjamin xD. So happy they keep making music and people are giving the love they deserve. @PeterCleff3 ай бұрын
So firstly, much appreciated for the sub! And then, I definitely think there's a lot to say for learning to love harsh vocals. It's an aquired taste, and people tend to initially reject things that go against their comfort zones. So micro-dosing harsh vocals is definitely something I recommend to people who want to get into metal, or have friends who they want to play music to.

I wouldn't call it 'heavy' but their first album, saturate, was pretty "hard". IMO ,back then, BB and a few other bands were beginning to re-introduce people (as in the radio listening public) to hard rock after all that whiney boy sh1t from the 90's. I worked in the Scranton PA area at the same time, before they got 'noticed' and were mainly playing local live clubs (there are videos on YT, check things like 'breaking bad live at tinks entertainment scranton pa' or 'the staircase Pittston PA'). Their music, along with other local bands like Lifer, was all over the place, couldn't walk down a Scranton street without hearing something from SATURATE playing from some window somewhere cool times in a sh1t city 😆
