I agree with 23dexter89 for most part. My big brother Greg died in Afghanistan and saved another marine from death as well. He took a bullet to the chest and died shortly after that. And he said himself he wanted to do good before he left for boot.camp. My brother sacraficed himself so he could confirm K.I.A. of a terrorist and life of another marine. My brothers a hero. Dont say you think war is a cool thing because it is hell.

I come from a long line of people from the military. Both of my parents were in the service (mom in the Army and my dad in the Air Force) and my oldest brother was a US Marine. My 1st oldest brother is as of now, at USMC Boot Camp in San Diego. My 3rd brother is wanting to go into the Air Force. Not wanting to break the chain, I am planning to join the Air Force when I am of age. I love this country and want to die defending it if I have to.

Whoever thinks that this song is promoting war and is trying to glorify being a soldier needs to listen to the lyrics again. "Border-line, dead inside, I don't mind, falling to pieces." Does that make you want to be a soldier?

saying you wanna die for your country is NOT stupid it is noble, to show THAT much love for your land. cuz ppl like you make it so easy to live life normally not in fear or like some 3rd world country i show mad respect for all armed forces you should get off your high horse and do the same, realize the choices theyve made to make our lifes better

Wars have always been that. Young men dying for the mistakes of old men. But the Courage, sacrifice, Valor, determination, Blood, Sweat & Tears of the Warrior will always be there. There are no politicians on the front-lines. There will always be glory for Soldiers who do their duty for their country. The American Marines in Iraq/Afghanistan fight for the USA not for Obama. The soldiers of my Country fought for Sri Lanka not for it's president. Soldiers do what we cannot. I admire them for that!

love this song cause its meanly talking about how benjamin said "show me what it's like, to dream in black and white, so I can leave this world tonight" - another term for borderline personality disorder is "extreme black and white thinking" (or emotional dysregulation disorder). There is no grey area, for example friends are either your best friends ever or you never want to talk to them again, and there is no in between.

I know this song isn't about this but I just need to say this! So in Toronto which is in Ontario, Canada, there's a grave spot in a walking area with a momument dedicated to an Unknown Soldier who died in WWI. No one knows him or who his family is but whenever I hear this song I sorta remember seeing that place when I went to Toronto for the summer! XD AWESOME SONG!!!

Core training, workouts. I obviously can't get a hold of real guns, but I make mock looking m-16's with what I have, to simulate the feel, and sometimes, my friend's BB, in which I have a good shot. I am overcoming my fear of heights since I plan on being a paratrooper. I WAS going to be a pilot, but my eyesight restricts that...

@OneInTheChamberOPS Yeah but there is a sort of rivalery between some branches. For example the Marines and Army rangers often tell insulting jokes about eachother. These are often in the spirit of brotherhood, because as we know brothers often poke fun at eachother, and every brother thinks that they are the best.

respect to all soldiers in this world (whatever they fight for) look at it like you want but they are the only people who dare to fight untill the end to protect their believes, familie and other shit, evn thougt war brings misery and pain it also has a flip side..
