That’s going to be the problem, maintaining quality depth. When you have a lot of quality players, getting them playing time is a problem. That’s why so many players hit the transfer portal. That and NIL will determine if players stay around a program.

@@berylallen7800 Listen to Primes presser yesterday, he treats college like NFL, he understands that and expects to be surprised by one or two starters that he didn’t expect to hit the portal to leave but the rest leaving is within parameters every cycle, he just reloads talent and recruits HS that he expects to contribute immediately and not wait and sit their turn, Prime doing it right 😂

IMO teams that put it together for a title will look more like tOSU, FSU & Clemson title teams in this era. That being said, the way Prime is trending nobody in the Big 12 will be able to come close to matching roster talent come 2026. Heck, with what they've done already they're going to take another massive jump defensively & in OL play which will scare the bejesus out of conference opponents.

Most definitely. I said this on another page, whether true or speculation about “DADDY BALL”, that’s all gone now, and he can let it rip and not have to hold back so that other players don’t feel singled out, neglected, picked on, or disregarded. It’s all about merit, not that it hadn’t always been that way. We harp on Shiloh, but every defensive coach at CU says the same thing, he knows the D, better than anyone else. As far as missed tackles, if we’re honest, he didn’t miss that many, they just stand out when HE does. Also, even on the Pro level, DBs are not known for their precision tackling, even some safeties. They are expected to break up passes, intercept them, bring down receivers, not muscle bound running backs. Not an excuse, just the facts. I feet mad at him at times too, until I consider, he was probably helping cover someone else’s mistake.
