They didn't play poor against KU. KU played their cheating asses off, and CU was too late to the game and, under weight in the rump to stop them. Every member of that desparate KU team was a grown man in his 5th, 6th even 7th year of college. Mid 20 year olds against teen agers. The KU villians were willing to break legs, backbones, the ten commandments to win. CU's players were not ready to sacrefice their careers for this game. CU, ( and know, I love the Buffs ) got their asses kicked no matter what direction they were looking. Shit happens.
