Think about how far baseball has come financially for the players now. Hernandez a great guy, good hitter against left-handed pitching but after that nothing REAL special. Definitely a guy any team would like to have though. But with no offense intended, 20 million a season for 3 years for basically a platoon player who is no young buck anymore. 20 million a season was considered an overpay not that long ago for one of the top players in baseball. WOW. Once again it's not a knock on Hernandez just an observation on the salaries of players today.
