Muncy doesn’t have the range to play 2B anymore. He can play 1B as a back up to Freddie and he’s becoming a better 3B. Muncy clearly focused on defense during the Yankees series. His batting clearly suffered. When Muncy played 1B subbing for Freddie Muncy reached based 17 times consecutive times vs the Mets. Many teams have right handed pitchers so Muncy still fits in. Signing Teoscar works out better. Same for Kike. Don’t need Arrenado.
