Sexton gets paid a lot but he gets beat up to , he will bounce back easy & keep the lawrence bothers on there toes for sure. I like this authentic channel, real kinship ,real moto racer commenters- no need for the other false hype headline motocross hot air$$ media blab channels

100% he regrets going KTM. but he would not have been happy at Honda based on what we saw with Kenny changing the linkage and smoking the whoops after leaving there. HRC was not going to give Chase what he needed regardless of the Lawrence's. but why KTM?! look at recent history with Webb and Craig hating the bike despite the latest chassis. if he could have just found any ride on a Kawi it would have suit him. this is just a sad story and i'm not even a Sexton fan. what's worse is the 450 field just gets more stacked with Jett, Hunter, Prado and eventually Deegs, it's not likely Chase will get another championship. had he skipped going with KTM he may have had more.

Feel for Sexton. All too similar to the final SMX round last year when he crashed out in Moto 2. He'll be back.

Ricky always said it was all about winning the start, to stay out of trouble. Only ever blamed himself if he was involved in a first turn incident. Chase lacks self belief with starts. Nobody, (except maybe Deegan) can win a Championship at this level, without being a consistently great starter. Chase can win races, if he wins the start, but there’s no consistency. Jett goes there expecting to win the start! I’d be interested to know how much different Chase being a bigger guy, affects the drag race to the first turn?

Chase seems to be plagued with bike issues, first the unpredictable Honda (which they apparently fixed this year with a stiffer frame) and now the KTM. I know Webb didn't like the new KTM 450 when it first came out--too stiff, I believe--but I think they built in more flex in 24. I hope it gets worked out. Next year will be boring if Sexton and Tomac aren't challenging the Lawrence brothers.

I used to have a buddy that spent so much time and money dialing in his suspension and changing parts out on his bike. I mean he was a good rider but it never made him a winner either. I don't think any of these micro-adjustments mean anything, it's more-so the body responding and adapting to the conditions which the best athletes are able to do regardless of equipment. And that crash had nothing to do with the bike anyway, that was just a bad move by Chase. I mean obviously the bike matters, but any modern dirtbike is capable of a championship.

I have a question for Ricky I’m wondering about the weight differences between a 250 and 450 I know that the stock weights are about less than 20 pounds difference but I do not know about the difference of these works bikes I would imagine it’s probably a lot less than that however, I do know there’s a big difference in gearing and power?

Weight difference isn't much at all, but the inertia difference is. I had the same bike in both sizes, they weighed about the same but the 450 wasn't nearly as nimble because of the inertia.

100% RC!!! I was thinking the same thing the other day!!! I think CS may regret leaving Honda and I also don't think he fits the KTM. Put him on a Yamaha!
