The first time I ever saw him in an interview I recall just feeling like something was off. Something about him felt like the positivity was an act or something. I cant explain it. Now that he is sober that kind of went away for me. I am sure he was a good person before as well but now I sense that he is a legitimately joyful guy and really is as positive as he seems about music. That change made me actually start to enjoy his music. It is almost like the drugs or alcohol or whatever isn't fogging up who he really is. Getting sober made him easier to connect with so I hope he keeps on that path. Im super happy for the guy.

I once had a video in my feed about a guy who talked about becoming a junkie and getting sober for 1 hour and I watched every second of it. Then I looked him up and found his music. At some point, he became known as Avril Lavigne's boyfriend and it seemed like he took this relationship very seriously but they broke up after a while and she immediately found someone else. Even though I don't know the guy, I was worried that he would relapse... Glad he didn't !

"The night is for poet's and madmen" I love the way he talks about music and the flow...this is the right creative approach in my eyes 😎👌👏 I actually love the grooves on this album and downloaded it the first time I heard it even though it was not technically "my style" but the groove sang to me and I find we like a lot of the same things, drummers, bands and grooves. I love his free spirit and openness 👏 also love that drum kit sound, I used to draw all over everything and it would piss my bosses off over the years(one was nice and said you are talented but save it for work haha)so I dig the drums and art. Thanks for this Brandon and drumeo, this was a great episode. I love most of what you guys do 👏
