Vikings and KOC gotta develop an ability and willingness to just step on the other team’s throat when they have the lead. The killer instinct. Ofc even the best teams win games by one score sometimes, and occasionally against far inferior teams. (The Chiefs did it a lot this year but we know that’s an entirely different story.) But it’s probably not a good sign if three years into this like 85% of his wins are by one score. This concept of “we’re always hanging on by a thread, but we keep winning” hasn’t translated to playoff success so far.

This was NOT a breakdown. Is his contract numbers some cloak and dagger secret? I just hope his in-season messaging goes away from being happy everyone on the sideline believed they could win to actually demanding some URGENCY.

It’s nice to see all the records and attributes Kevin set but since 1960 Vikings fans have been waiting since for a Super Bowl victory. We’ve watched them fail to even advance in the playoffs time and time again and it was no different in the 24/25 season. The offensive line was once again the weak link, just like it’s been for the last five years. That weakness was especially apparent during the last two games and it became obvious the Vikings were going nowhere again. Without major improvement in the offensive line it doesn’t matter what quarterback star we get when they’ll be running for their lives and unable to bring any continuity to the offense. Sam Darnold made team Zygi forget about the line problem for 14 games but it flared up again when playoff-caliber teams hunted down Darnold. The Minnesota Vikings ranked dead last in the league in the amount of pocket time at 1.6 seconds. Every single team in the NFL gives their quarterback more time to make plays. It’s been that way since before Cousins. It’s long past time to do something about the offensive line. O’Connell deserves every dollar he got but what he brings isn’t going to fix the team’s biggest problem.

As we talk about koc getting his pay upgrade which is well deserved. Give keenan mccardell assistant offensive coordinator. The guy is attempting to move forward I don’t find it fair for other people to be considered for upgraded roles within but someone with a great track record continue to be undervalued.

No more all passes inside the 10 yard line. Really cost us potential 2 TDs against the Lions by not trying to run. We had 4 incompletions and turn over on downs. Then followed up again with 3 incompletions and then did a FG. No more going for it on 4th down mid field with less than two minutes left going into half time. Really bad coaching

@robe250410 күн бұрын
@ I assumed you had no clue what KOC was thinking or trying to do, because if you were on the coaching staff and privy to that knowledge, you would be out of line. If you don't know what KOC (or Flores) are trying to do, and feel that you are in a position to give experienced and highly rated professional NFL coaches advice, then then your comment is not only very arrogant, but borderline stupid. If you just like coaches that overtly like blowing teams out - then the Lions would be obvious team for you to support. It's not difficult.

Grow up. Success isn't instant. It requires talent, intelligence and effort, otherwise someone like you, who likely has none of those characteristics, would also have an opportunity to be an NFL coach. Maybe you should go cheer for the Chiefs, but remember Andy Reid lost 9 playoff games at Philly.
