Hey Sped, how did you guys record? Basic tracks all together in the same room with mics? Totally separate in your own homes? Direct or with mics? Formal studio with outside engineers/producers? Or recorded yourselves in your homes with Protools, etc? What software? Amps? Guitars? Thx.

It was from Toneworld (since closed) in Manchester as well. My partner got it me as a surprise. 🤩 I’ve actually got some pickups and a new harness to put in soon. After my last job soldering I’m a bit like…. 🫠 How do you like yours?

Just love the look of it, got it from Sounds Great in my Village, again now closed sadly after 40 years. I find it goes out of tune too easily, I’m not sure if fitting the locking tuners would help or maybe different strings, any recommendations? Volume knob perhaps could be further back as I knock it. Anyway looks great, would like to see you play it in some other videos. Keep up the great work

Kinell mate....DON'T mess with Sped! Actually, I don't play the main riff like that, but I will if I practice enough. I like this one more than the first single, it's more of a love (passion?) song than a cry of pain. The acoustic version is great, your Faith sings out a treat. Not so sure about the hairy knees though. I'm afraid I can't join you in London in November (It'll be warm and sunny in Tasmania, mate. Why would I want to leg it all the way to cold, miserable London just for a BXRELL gig???!!!) but I'm looking forward to the live video and hope it's a fantastic opening for a stellar world tour.

It is great to see a musician take Mark Agnesi's demand to "Play authentic" to heart. Is it true that you even went out and bought a bottle of the same shampoo you used the day you recorded this track just to ensure you had the right authentic hair tone for this video? Is this why 2020's Page doesn't sound quite like 1970's Page - completely different hair situation? All jokes aside, great track great video.

If you listen closely to Page’s playing in the ‘70s you can actually hear that he is using a high street 2 in 1. Straight forward and easy to maintain; this explains why he had such sweet, raucous and seemingly effortless tone. Post 1985 you can start to hear that he moved to on to a special organic scalp routine using a mixture of essential oils. Things were overly complicated for no reason and the tone began to thin and fade.

There's only one person that's qualified to know and that's the man himself. You add humor to a detailed approach to playing, it's got me wanting to find a luthier to setup my badly neglected axes and start stretching out my old fingers.
