For the Galatea Pegasus Corps from Ingrid's Paralouge, keep in mind that you need to have recruited Ingrid to get them. Otherwise, you just get the Dorothea rewards that I don't remember.

I've found the blessing gambit to be a godsend for her when setting up low HP builds. For a longer route like silver snow, if you are good about keeping the knowledge gem on her it is very possible to get both defiant avo and crit without excessive grinding. On maps that don't have pressing objectives that require all hands on deck I usually tend to undeploy units that need mastery and pair them with others who also need it to double up the amount of xp given by enemies. With both defiant avo and crit she is extremely lethal on both phases. And if you set things up extremely well you can actually be in range of defiant and still preserve the blessing buff as a safety. My late game build: bow prowess, axe prowess, hit 20, def avo, def crit. I run a forged mini bow because it gives crit and removes the need for close counter while still dealing hefty damage to winged units via crits. Axes are there just to pack more of a punch on beefier targets. The dual prowess skills are just there to maximize avoid.

In first playthrough of black eagles, I decided to make Petra my dancer solely for the sword avo +20. Her endgame class was Assassin with B.Wrath, Avo +30, Sword avo +20, sword crit +10, and a Wo Dao+. This was on hard, but was still very satisfying to see her dodge everything then crit back.

I actually had a great time using her as an Assassin with death blow. The Stealth skill is really fun and not talked about much IMO. The class also has 6 movement and terrain resistance so she can sneak around and use high crit swords

Now I know it's not the most optimal, butI really love assassin Petra. I know that keeping her in an advanced class reduces her viability very late game, but in my runs that I used her, she has come through with her 130 avoid (maxed out her spd pretty fast as well). I do appreciate this vid tho. Gave me something to think about when it comes to building Petra on my nest run. For that I thank you 😊

I think the Tempest Lance bit went for a little too long but it's alright. I have those moments too sometimes. Haha I do agree that she shines the most in Silver Snow, especially for Chapter 13 where she's usually the second best unit after Byleth on that map. Focusing on EP with her is a great choice obviously since she's arguably the best B.Wrath Avoid tank in the game but I do enjoy her player phase builds a lot since she's a unit with good stats and good speed. After playing this game over and over I always appreciate a unit that can spec into different roles, keeps things fresh and fun (even though the optimal builds should be prioritized when talking about said unit). A little question for you but how would you compare her to Leonie? I sometimes see people comparing these two since they have a similar stat spread but their kits push them in different directions. Thank you so much! I was concerned I was hyperfocusing on a relatively small thing with the Tempest Lance stuff lmao. I personally prefer Leonie as a unit from a functional perspective, I think she is stronger out of the box in those early chapters and my playstyle naturally pushes me more towards player phase units, which suits Leonie better. It's not a large gap though, both are excellent.

@@JonoabboFE agreed, Leonie's personal is more immediately useful esp in early game and her def and proficiencies are a very convenient more ore less trading lances for axes and horses for pegasi.

In my first playthrough I didn't notice her flying rank and I opted to make her my swordmaster in the long run and she did pretty amazing in being a dodge tank swordmaster. At least in normal mode her speed had her doubling most bosses after the early game. I recruited Ingrid as my only pegasus knight and I made my Byleth a wyvern lord which he was honestly OP as, even archers barely did anything to him cause his defense rose with almost every level up along with speed and strength. His res was ok, but still hurt much more than the archers cause I guess wyverns are weak to lightning

unfortunately as a sword truther and axe disliker (mostly bc i'm just tired of putting every unit into wyvern lord lol) i will be putting her into falcon knight lmao. BUT maybe next time i play crimson flower (i'm on verdant wind right now) i'll try out that dodge tank build bc it sounds cool as fuck

Hunter's boon was very useful last time I used her. I was planning on making her my dancer so I didn't give her Death, darting blow, strength +2, hit +20 etc. So she didn't have enough strength kill unless she crit (and sometimes a crit wasn't even enough).

I use her with killer weaponry assassin ans an avoidance battalion it's awesome watching her dodge every she was a key character when I fought the immaculate one

Jerald’s mercs/axe breaker/assassin class delete every axe user in maddening she doubles them and she never gets hit usually every axe users hit rate is under 10 or strait up zero. Use her to beat edelgards paralog to plug the middle route of wyverns I give her death blow too I was able to not use darting blow I ended up taking it off late game

Petra is my No 1 waifu in Three Houses. I recruit her whenever possible doing other routes as she is a pain in the ass to fight against with that OP speed and avoid rate 🤣
