You have to grab the blade & bend the wire up for it to stay down. Hope that helps.

Thanks I just got mine today plus I got the swim baits too I use yums a lot I e had a lot of success with those so I’ll try your products out do I fast real it or slow I do got the chatterbaits as well but no catches yet but I do like them all of my catches have been on yums so far I caught 5 bass so far I’m happy

I was at academy today and noticed these. I ended up getting the 1/2oz chatterbait because the 1/2oz clickbait felt heavier, I’m more into finesse fishing. Is there a reason why 1/2oz clickbait is heavier than 1/2oz chatterbait?

Today I was using some googan Bandito bug and I had put it as a trailer on a black and blue jig and caught 1 1/2 pounder and the bait broke. After I switched to a yum Christie craw and caught a 2 1/2 and it didn’t break a little!

Go where people don’t fish so usually really deep. And be a bit lucky. Throw new stuff, the fish that are big in pressured lakes and ponds are incredibly smart. Use lighter line than normal. And check out 1rod1reel he fishes a lot of pressured areas for bass. Or at least he did in older videos and is a part of the googan squad.

Last night i was a cademy sports and outdoors and noticed that googan squad baits were on sale , they had the googan mini zinger spinnerbait in solid all white color for $5 and the googan clickbait for $5 or so , so i picked up those up and the googan baits lunker log in white , not my fault that not all baits are made the same , Thanks googan squad because of y'all i now have 4 boxes worth of Barbie Baits. i cant wait to get out there and fire out my googan baits , i used to have a white chatterbait and got no luck on that now im hoping that with a smaller profile that googan squad is gonna change all that for me.

Put a steel leader on them if you wanna keep them. Pike, muskie, chain pickerel and gar love them as well. Anything with teeth. Even if you keep one on with no wire leader your skirts toast.

Had to chime in and say my feelings on this bait, I bought 3 different colors and all was 1/2oz , out of the pack only 1 of the 3 actually worked properly and I enjoyed hucking the bait around and casts far , I bent the wire straight as I seen in a video on here and only 1 of the 3 was salvageable to use I'm not complaining just wish the quality control was better and being my 1st googan bait I'm skeptical to try more of the lures ..... all in all I lost $ and time trying to make this lure work , my strike king rage blades never fail and have better action imho hope this helped someone out b4 they purchase this bait

Powerbait makes a craw that matches exactly. It looks awesome. Or you could use a Googan red rattlin chunk. I use both.

Love Googan products but the clickbait was a huge let down for me, I absolutely love chatterbaits thunder cricket and jackhammer are boss. Even after making the adjustments to make it run at the right depths I couldn’t buy a bite in several different locations

You have to bend the blade/wire up for it to stay down. I had to search videos & comments to find that out. Hope it helps.

Why don't you discuss how to make adjustments to the clickbait to counter it riding up in the water column? Mine will not stay down, it always rises to the top of the water!!! If I could get it to stay down, I'd fish it constantly!!! PLEASE ADDRESS THIS!!!!!!!!!!

Agreed! I had to search youtube videos to find the fix. You have to bend the wire up to get it to stay down. Grab the blade & bend up. Sometimes you have to move the wire to the side of the head to achieve the desired bend/depth. Hope that helps. It's a great lure I just wish they would address this.
