hello man You do realize that Russia is a country run by a man who riggs elections to guarantee his victories? Moreover, private enterprise is limited to Putin and his small circle of friends and relatives who have reportedly looted the Russian treasury of over $100 billion. Due to Putin's failure to institute any economic policies which would benefit his citizens or develope an industrial base Russia's economy is virtually dependent on the export of oil and natural gas and their substantial price fluctuations. When was the last time you bought anything that said "Made in Russia"? So the world's largest by land mass and 9th largest by population, Russia has never broken into the top ten in GDP among all nations. But hey, who needs liberal corruption when you have Trump buddy Vlad style corruption ruining the Russian economy? At the rate he's going Trump will probably bring Putin's "successes" to the U.S. Or you could just move to Minsk where life is so much better in a nation without liberals-probably because they're stowed away in gulags.

I know that's not exactly what he said. Luckily we have the sophisticated pundits to tell us that is what he meant. We can all feign this same level of sharp analysis. Trump could've been worse. Much worse. Hypothetically, let's say that the mic picked up a few words whispered to a high ranking Russian diplomat, "Tell Vlady that I'll have more flexibility after re-election.". If what Trump said (or meant) was bad, then John Brennan would surely agree that this hypothetical scenario would be downright treasonous.
