Why nobody talk about that Mongolian, during their expansion of Mongol empire, has slaughtered more than 100 million around the world, which, more horribly all done by blades and arrows. Again left-wing Americans talking about the unjust invasion of Iraq. Why do you forget about the thousands of deaths of Iraqis who wanted to live in a democratic country, but Saddam decided to completely deprive them of their lives? Why do you forget about the millions of Kurds whom Saddam poisoned with chemical weapons? Why do you forget about the invasion of Kuwait, whose consequences led to an environmental disaster (due to burning oil) and, as a result, a million cancer cases? There's a lot completely ignored in this video. I'm as opposed to the Russian invasion of Ukraine as anyone but it's ridiculous how much this piece leans into the "Putin actually thinks the United States has had ulterior motives and it's foreign policy has had harmful consequences" bit, which is just objectively true and plain obvious to the rest of the world. Then again PBS basically is US State media so I guess that's to be expected.

I don't think "regime change" is included in the modern-day foreign policy of the US. It just happens that regime change is almost always possible only from an Autocrat/Communist type of government to a more democratic type. The west will always support and welcome that change of course, and Russia will always prevent that. That is how it will always be.

Russia basically couldn't invade Ukrainian if Trump was president. The US was much more respected then than under Obama or Biden. Crimea and Ukraine are evidence of the leadership of Obama and Biden respectively. We can't just write his efforts off by simply saying with no substantial evidence that Russia helped elect him. As I approach my 70s, I often find it entertaining to go back and watch how ridiculous US propaganda is and was, although the problem is, like this show, that its often so dumbed down that I can never seem to force myself to get through a whole show without turning it off because of the ridiculous shading and twisting of true history that I have actually lived through and witnessed.

@@wasdgamings ...actually if I were a boomer, I would likely already be in my 70s, I'm a joneser, a member of the so called lost generation that came between the boomers and the Xers, to which no specific social engineering was targeted at, although the dates for jonesers has been manipulated too and combined in with the boomers because so many of the jonesers just adopted the social engineering and marketing that was aimed at the boomers. Keep in mind here, that the boomers were the first US generation to be greatly influenced and manipulated by television, as were and are most individuals of all generations hence, the generation classification itself is used to identify what particular social engineering and marketing that each generation hence was or is exposed to, however as a member of the "lost" generation, I had the unintended advantage to look at one or all. and consequently i noticed the changes between them perhaps more so than many others that were specifically being targeted and basically never completely vibed with any of them. Further, I am at the very beginning of the so called lost generation, before such loss was noticed and patched up. I never adopted or incorporated the social engineering/marketing targeting the boomers or those generations that followed, and rather than looking to any of the post TV generations for insight, I looked more to the WW2 and WW1 generations (as well as first editions of books) for guidance and education - to which my immediate boomer elders were already in the process of distancing themselves from their elders, parents and their knowledge base as a result of the social engineering/marketing and related control of pop culture via television that was already targeting them, just as current generations are so targeted and manipulated. Hence the boomers were also known for their "tune in, turn on and drop out" pop culture. This disconnect between elders, parents and their offspring provided for a block or disconnect in the ability for parents and other elders to pass down their acquired living experience and prime source knowledge, as such, this functioned to force the generations that followed to be more dependent on mass media and the written word as virtually their only source for historical information, of course both mass media and the written word can be colored, shaded and/or re-written to conform with any particular narrative or agenda that the controlling "elites" wish to present. :-)

@Esphaeras Praestans yeah the US doesn’t care about democracy. They tried to create puppet regimes in Iraq and Afghanistan. South Korea and Japan are not healthy democracies. They’re client states of the US. The US supported a fascist junta in South Korea that murdered all opposition to US occupation. The US nuked Japan into submission and has occupied the country ever since. This is despite routine protests against US bases. Same in Europe. Half of Germany is against sending military aid to Ukraine but because Germany isn’t a democracy, it’s a vassal of the US, Germany was forced to fall in line and send tanks, against the democratic will of its citizens. The US committed an act of war against Germany, a supposed democratic ally. The US doesn’t care about democracy at all which is why it has supported some of the most murderous fascist dictatorships in history. While also overthrowing numerous democratic governments. If a country doesn’t put US interests first the US will overthrow, undermine, and sabotage their democracy.

In this era of information, it is essential not to manipulate people with deceptive narratives. While I do not endorse any form of warfare or violence, it appears that Mr. Putin is attempting to ensure the security of our country. However, it is important to acknowledge that everyone knows that who is responsible for the expansion of NATO. Ukrajina musí zaniknúť a Rusko si musí zobrať to čo im patrí. Tým bude chránené aby sa nestalo znovu korisťou západu, anglosasov.
