I’m pretty sure they set up Annihilous and the Annihilation wave in Ant-Man 3. The ant colony that was super evolved and made its way down to the quantum realm. Annihilous will evolve out of that Ant colony that helped them escape and then got trapped down there with all of Kang’s tech at their disposal.

Just one thing that gets overlooked in theories about this movie is that it will most likely not be on earth 616 and will probably be in a different universe, the argument that they simply disappeared in the 60s and come back in modern mcu times would really jump the shark as aside from dr strange' comment about "charting in the 60s" which was said more as a joke than people realize, there's never been any mention of them having been on 616 yet

When I mentioned to my daughter whilst watching for a marvel movie to start a few years ago, I was explaining that there was a rumour that marvel were going to do a FF movie and whist explaining the first family of marvel to her one of the first things I mentioned to her that if they Introduced Franklin Richards to the MCU he would be one of the most powerful characters in the Marvel universe and how exciting it would be to have him as part of the MCU

Good thing about Kang (J.Majors) is that Marvel don't have to include his storyline becuse they have pretty much concluded the Kang related story in Ant Man 3 and Loki TV show. Marvel can start with the new character as a multiversal threat.
