@charleswilliams1143 that is a great question when I was in college I wish I had to transfer portal, but hopefully the NCAA tighten some things up for next year off-season because it is kind of ridiculous that freshmen commit come in and decide to leave before the season even starts , now my situation I think the portal fits for guys in the situation where I was recruited by a specific coordinator position coach and once I graduate high school and got to campus, it was a whole new coaching staff because they fired the head coach, but I was stuck scholarship. Coach told me if I wanted to transfer only way I could do it was to go down the level to keep from losing a year and I didn’t want to do that.
