I find it so easy to get lost in comfort and you only start to notice it when it becomes a habit. And then it is hard to break out of especially when you struggle with depression. As humans we naturally will always gravitate to comfort so it is a tricky thing to overcome. But yes definitely becoming aware is a big help, along with doing small things consistently to break free. On the other hand, when depression and the sunk cost fallacy tell us that we have lost everything and nothing will ever be the same, it becomes easier to turn away from our values and play video games. So, like the profound insights you have gained and described in the video, we too must educate ourselves through a variety of sources. But if depression and anxiety are strong enough, this will be more difficult to do because of the distortion of information intake and retrieval.
