When I was a kid, I was an entrepreneur. I never lacked for ideas or energy to put into creating them. Then, I had a singular but very powerful experience that set me on a path of fear and powerlessness. My father lost his job when he was in his 50s and never recovered. At the time I was 12 and the only one in my family with a job. I had enough money saved to make 2 mortgage payments. My parents refused to use my money but also failed to tell me how we were going "to make ends meet." I went from a blissful intuition that I've always had enough, had enough in the moment, and would always have enough in the future, to a terrified, POWERLESS, kid who didn't know I would always have enough anymore. What a joy to now discover where the rupture was, and see how to repair it. Thank you for the work you have done, and the millions of little nudges to have followed to help me heal this in the space of a breath! I can hardly contain my gratitude or my awe at how things work together for our highest good, even when the little bits alone may not have looked so good. Money is merely a frequency just like everything else .... we block love and we block opportunities and we block experiences and we block relationships etcetera etcetera You are a powerful energetic being first and foremost that can speak anything into existence, when you release doubt or fear or resistance.. money can flow in if that is what you desire. From anywhere..... I manifest regularly, it seems to be easier for Leo's LOL because we are playful imaginative children no matter what age we are and just think back to when you were a child and you spoke things into existence..... you did not fear you couldn't find something or you couldn't afford it or there wouldn't be enough..... there is no such thing as lack and limitation except in the mind. You might like Jake Ducey, of course Abraham Hicks..... but you always must forget about "how" your desires will show up, instead focus on the feelings because that is the emotion.... which is energy in motion, and stay in neutrality also, for example..... when you place an order at a restaurant you know the food is coming-- you don't sit there fearful of it or scared can't show up or you can't afford it or there's no way it's coming etc etc. So you place the order and you go about your business but you're initially excited that you're going to be getting it, yet you know it's already on its way. But you also wouldn't go to a Chinese restaurant wanting Italian food. So your intentions should be clear ..yet leave room for the universe to always bring in better which happens often to me. For example, to manifest a car just give a few specifics, I didn't bother with the make or the model being mentioned, just that I wanted a great stereo, a panoramic roof similar to the Subaru I had, and the low miles and a particular price, I wanted cloth seats and a 4-cylinder and I wanted it to be fun. The fun turned out to be a turbo 5 cylinder that I didn't even know existed, nor did I know a Tiguan had a better roof than the Subaru LOL and I didn't realize that leather seats were easier to clean than cloth because I ended up with leather, and I can always put a cloth cover on them. the universe always brings in what you're asking for but typically it brings in better. But the key is to sit in gratefulness right away because everything is actually happening at once. Time is not linear. It's already here. Everything you seek is seeking you.❤

When I was growing up money was ABUNDANT. I got everything I wanted, and some of the best of. We had 4 homes, multiple vehicles, boats and an airplane. I was very grateful & realized I was extremely BLESSED w deep compassion for those who struggled. My blocks came in adulthood,from being married to a narcissist, telling me I couldn't make it without him, I could never make it on my own; that I was stupid (despite graduating 13th in my class & starting college as a junior in highschool). I live in SE Asia with my partner. He is Filipino and is only permitted here, in this part of SE Asia, for 30 days at a time. Recently, on one of his Visa-runs he was flagged! I know and I am always taken care of. My story: The few months have been challenging. My father Transitioned in February. I had some money left from the settlement I received. I haven't been able to work in my chosen field. I took care of my father. One of the Affirmations I have been using is I always have more than enough. And this has motivated me to start a business. Saying the things you said on this podcast has given me confirmation. I didn't know how I was going to pay Mays rent since I invested in the business. My father was a source of income for me and my family. Needless to say, it's been a challenge. I said to myself. I wish I didn't have to pay May's rent. See I have to move and the property management company gave us grace in May's rent. So everything you are saying thank you.❤

This is awesome. It came up after I listened to an episode about altruism and an interview with Ayn Rand. I knew it wasn’t “normal” or healthy for me to always “give it away” whenever I got money. I think benevolence is more what I was and am after. But guilt and self sacrifice are what came from my catholic and baptist upbringing. For me, in order to be more like Mother Theresa, I had to banish the desire to want money, to want things for myself, because I should give it to those who need it more than me. I am 50 years old and finally able to put this burden down. I have an acupuncture and massage business in which it is not sustainable for me to be the sole practitioner of for my lifetime, yet I want to continue making money from it, so I have been wanting to see how I can create more opportunities around that. Stoked to feel like I can move forward that way, and to learn how to change my brain and drop the guilt.

My mom would calculate the money after the bills paid and would come to her boys to tell that "we will SURVIVE this month". Me and my brother were 7-10 years old. Surely we were scared to not survive and die. Now, 30 years later, we are here and always had enough, but I have been living with this fear for the most of my life.

David I absolutely loved this video! A limiting belief I learned I had about money just by a random chance; was after I placed down some bills on the table by my girlfriend and then I said and I quote, "I need to go wash my hands now after touching that dirty stuff." And then I was like "Holy shit did I just call money, the thing I've been trying to EARN, dirty?!?..." Not that it might not have some germs on it, but really, when we say "dirty money", who do we all think of? Trafficking rings, drug dealers, siphoned money, laundered money (no pun intended)... crime right? Isn't that crazy, that I have had a belief since I was a little child that money was "dirty"?!!! Wow. Whether or not money has germs is one thing, so do phones, door handles, steering wheels and all sorts of other things but we don't call them "dirty" all the time, yet somehow money is "dirtier" than the rest? Hope this helps somebody! - P.s. thanks David I think you're work is great. :)

This is excellent! This not having enough mentality is deeply ingrained in many people that are near retirement age. For example, many adults past middle age and close to retirement age that have well more than sufficient money to retire on, while at the same time continue to work at a job that they don’t like, have a scarcity mindset, and are letting “fear” dictate how they live. After a certain point, such an individual will be getting diminishing returns by working more to earn money that they don’t need. They may be earning more money, but they may be paying more in other areas of their lives. Health, happiness, harmonious relationships and peace of mind is a form of wealth that some or many that are rich in money don’t have.

This podcast was Divine reminder of the new belief that came over me when I handed over my keys to my employer and said I'm Done. I walked toward my passion on 7/5/24. I no longer believed that I needed someone to provide a paycheck to me. It was time to move toward what I was made for. I discarded the old belief that I need to "work" for a paycheck to keep a roof over my head and food in my stomache. My mindset changed and I realized the huge savings account that I have to start my new venture. I completely looked at it wrong and didn't want to touch it, as I realize now, it for "so that I have enough when I'm old".
