Amazing you guys are covering this. I've tried to contact local media about bring light to this issue. My abuser has my dog and spare car key still a year after physically assaulting me. No one will help me, I'm stuck the the 7th circle of referral hell.

I I don't wish this on my worst enemy what I am going through. 22 years of emotional abuse, I quit. There are not enough resources out there. But what really gets to me is, the police doesn't have any training in this matter. Sad. Just because I am not bruised up, that doesn't mean that I am not being abused. Very sad😢

When you have built your life with someone and they never intended to live their life with you… and were simply benefiting from your existence. The lie that you believed that WAS your reality is absolutely soul crushing. My ex wasted 20 years of MY LIFE while he lived a double life.. there is no recovery for that. It’s just gone, and I wish I was too.

I searched for help on this and all I found was help for women. Resources for women. As a man with children it feels like I’m expected to just take it with no where to go.

Have you tried looking up for advice specifically for men that are being abused? I’ve seen quite a bit of info on it. A big reason there’s so much out there for women is because in romantic relationships it’s typically the woman being abused. The female might exhibit some abusive traits in reaction to her abuser and that’s called reactive abuse. Good luck!

My younger sister was also psychologically and emotionally abused. But she never went to get any help she ended up doing is roll reversal. She still using role reversal she hasn't stopped either. The person I'm talking about is Constance Cassidy.

The system should also consider this very seriously. Just a couple days ago, a friend took her kids to the restaurant the court designated for them to meet with their dad (she cannot meet because of an EPO she filed recently). The man started yelling at the kids and mad because they testified at court, and that drove him mad, he insulted them, spoke trash about their mom, while other people were wondering what the heck was going on. The kids walked away and called their mom. They went to the police... no, they cannot do anything because nothing happened, well, nothing as physical violence. What about the verbal violence? The system fails, as how many people have even died in the hands of those who didn't do any physical harm first. They just wait for the dead to speak from afar but things still continue being the same.

I've been abused for several years to the point of physical suffering and treated worse than a slave and am still being abused and much more they track my phone and have tried to make me commit suicide by psychological abuse and I don't have any help and never did despite numerous attempts to get help they drain me in every way and abuse me in every way and I've been sexually abused while I slept also

I've been mentally abused by my nextdoor neighbor, she would beat, knock, or throw objects against my wall whenever I'm watching TV or doing something in the kitchen. I tried reporting it to the landlord but she's been making excuses after excuses, saying it's probably just the upstairs neighbor or my neighbor is a good person how they never had a problem with her.

My GFs Step-dad tends to yell and swear at her and is afraid of being home alone with him. He hasn't gotten physical yet but also tends to blame my GF for things that she hasnt even done. She has ADHD, Depression, Bipolar and other disorders including separation anxiety when her mom leaves the house. She wants me to get her out of that house with the abusive stepfather. She tends to be happy at work when she comes home she tends to get anxiety and is scared and almost tends to be afraid every day. Any ways to get her out of that abusive stepfathers house and any ways to take legal action.
