It could be leaking because the drain and feed isnt clocked straight up and down, and your getting oil pooling in the tutbo

Pure joy, put the work in and now the culmination of it all plus the perfect weather. I haven't seen a fall like this in a few years. Those trees are blingy af for sure. I have an orange and yellow one in my backyard with a super bright red bush, it's insane especially at dusk. You're pure joy brother. No agony, no complaining, amazement...congrats on you. That car sounds great even through the TV or headphones. It has massive growl. I've been watching a lot of DSM and Honda videos, it gives me the itch but I've always loved the way BMW'S look and that inline 6 line is unique...

i know getting your car tuned by a proffesional is expensive, but its worth the investment. I also tried it on my own on my e36, it worked fine but after proffesional tune i was damn happy.

Now you just gotta make a bulkhead connector for your glove box so you can just plug right into instead of the wires hanging out when you need to check the tune.. But awsome video man it makes me want to get working on my e36. I've only driven it twice in 9 years lol

Worst case with those axle spacers you can take them to a machine shop and have them turned down to half the thickness.

Ego correction is closed loop fueling. Turn it off when tuning rough. It should be only on when the table is refined and on cruise. Or keep it completely off like me

Hey Joel have you considered getting the downpipe properly ceramic coated. Some good quality ceramic coating work quite well and heat wrap is a moisture trap and quite hard on the metal. In fact some companies i know void the warranty on manifolds if they where heat wrapped and tell you to get it coated.

Been following the build the past couple of weeks. I am prob not the first to say, but you need to re-clock the turbo's center housing. Turbos use gravity to drain the oil back. Without the drain being near straight down, it will fail. Turbo failure could destroy the rest of your engine and all that time and money goes down the drain. This could also be the source of the extra oil smoke coming from your exhaust.

I noticed your last video that the clicking had matched up with the axel boot zip ties, maybe? Could be coming in contact with whatever stabilizer arm (or whatever) is closest . Look for scratched paint or complete absence of it.

In the last video you showed the rear wheel while the car was running and you can see that the Clip or clamp is hitting on the little square part when it turns. look at it in the last video at 47 .33!! You'll see what it is or at least what is clicking but not what it is hitting on. It the boot clamp the little square piece on it. Have a look and you'll see what I'm saying.

We had something similar in our oil truck, called diapers. It obsorbs oil products only. Not water. You can buy it some stores.
