Breaking in the Nanda Racing NB-5 Nitro Engine

Following on from the First Start Tutorial in a previous video, here is the full tutorial on how to break in the Nitro Engine using the Nanda Racing NB-5 with SH .21 Engine as an example. This process can be applied to any Nitro Engine but as always I'd advise checking your manual for Manufacturer specific methods to keep in line with your warranties.

And just a quick question the nanda bd8 on my channel when i drive it the front end of the chassis the metal part at the bottom it scrapes the floor constantly until i give it alot of gas so it pulls back and One of the front suspension shocks or whatever it is it is very stiff ive replaced the oil and still stiff could you please help it does sometimes get free and easy to move but mostly it is stiff and mostly breaks parts when going fast down a pavement because the suspension is not absorbing the shocks

They are very similar. The rumble was very durable. This one I haven't tested yet.

Is it possible to start the car (engine) at like -5 degrees? Becouse Its winter here and I will mayby buy that car, and its gonna be my first nitro car! It would be amazing to get support! ^-^

Yes of course. Try and pre-heat the engine first with a hair dryer to make it easier

Do you actually let the car run out of fuel, or do you cut it when it gets really low??

You should stop the engine when it gets to about 1/8 of a tank as the engine will lean out as the fuel level gets low.

And that is stopping the engine by plugging the stinger (end of the exaust) If you squeeze the fuel tubing it will also lean out the engine

Depends how you're driving, how it's tuned etc. During break in it goes for about 10 mins on a tank because it's running rich. When it's tuned I'd say no more than 15 mins.
