Setting up and Starting the Nanda Racing NB-5 for the First time

In this video I run through the steps when starting your Nitro car for the first time. In this video I'm using the Nanda Racing NB-5 as an example, however these checks and procedures apply to all RC cars fitted with Nitro engines. In a separate video I cover the Full Break in Procedure.

I have the exact same buggy, And i have a problem, when I full throttle the buggy just shuts off

I enquired about the hpi trophy 3.5 when I went in to my local hobby shop. He told me to forget about the hpi and get one of these. You've got my attention josh. This will be interesting to see if it can out perform the Hpi. Really give it some stick mate. My cash is burning a hole in my pocket

So far it seems good. It reminds me massively of the Turnigy Rumble though, which is even cheaper than this. Same engine, same specs, same chassis layout. I'll be taking it to our old dirt area to see how it performs there. Videos coming soon.

I love the content and very helpful, I have a redcat buggy that i'm waiting a new exhaust coupler, gonna do a break in once I get it. Hopefully i do everything properly, i'll use the techniques in your videos. Also got to reset the tune on Idle, high speed and low speed needles :)

Hi mate I've done tank one and let it idle now when trying to do tank 2 as soon as I apply throttle the engine cuts out any ideas?

Rev it a little with igniter in to clear the excess fuel. During break in it is normal to have such issues

The only buggy with a .18 engine and a 2 speed gearbox I can think of is the HSP Warhead which I never found to be very good... Personally I'd go with a single speed transmission. You'll get barely any extra speed out of another gear and my HSP Warhead one went wrong... A lot!

What can you do when you start your engine and the wheels are just spinning with giving no throttle

Check that the Idle gap is set to 1.5mm or less. Search my channel for idle speed screw :)

Is it possible to start the car (engine) at like -5 degrees? Becouse Its winter here and I will mayby buy that car, and its gonna be my first nitro car! It would be amazing to get support! ^-^

Yes of course. Try and pre-heat the engine first with a hair dryer to make it easier

Give it a revv with the igniter in to clear the excess fuel If it still does it , might need to lean out the HSN a bit :)

@@TheRCBiker ok so got to the fun part and now the car decides to steer itself and is uncontrollable. Changed the batteries and checked the connections but same problem. When the car is stationary the steering works fine but not when driving the buggy, any ideas?.
