I'm not sure why Kody is so angry. He told Christine (his wife) that he wasn't going to be intimate with her anymore. Since intimacy - physical and emotional - is such an important part of a marriage, what's the point of staying in a marriage that one party refuses that. So Christine left. Why is he mad about that? It's his doing. He made it clear he and Meri hadn't been intimate in years and also said some horrific things about her. Why is he so mad that she finally bales? He got exactly what he asked for. His anger is misguided.

I think with the faith they were living at the time, it was not unusual for a man to leave his wife or wives for the newest one. And the wives would just accept that. Ted Bundy probably was a psychopath. Whatever Kody is, he is not in this category. There is also a difference between some traits and full on personality disorder diagnoses such psychopathy.

In the last episode Robyn mentioned that she was making her kids her priority that they come first - maybe she is feeling that Kody is distancing himself from her kids also - now there are many many fathers and mothers who do not have a good relationship with their children - or the other way around - where the kids grow up rebellious against parents - its getting to be very common - that is part of the homeless and addict situation in our Country,, and is getting worse every year - many young adults do not want kids or even marriage. Sister wives is a tragedy amongst many - the family unit is being torn apart - morals are lost - need I say more.

Narcissists never change. They never see anything they do as wrong. They are incapable of self introspection. They are incapable of caring about anyone else. Kody seems to care about Robyn and her kids but that’s because they give him his necessary supply. Same with Robyn. She only cares about those who feed her supply needs. They only want to have relationships with those who will bow down to them.

It's more everyone else has moved on with their lives, not participating in Kody's dysfunction, but to Kody, that's being kicked out of "his club" and they're "colluding" (?) against him. 😂 Totally over his head that he's not a moving piece in the family dynamic only because the toddler (Kody) needs a time out to consider his poor behavior. 🤭
@g.flesch97312 ай бұрын
Kody's adult kids have lives, family, some have kids. They are plenty busy living a life. Kody is not a factor. They do not think about him all the time but Kody cannot get their not being loyal to him. What has he done lately for any of his 12 kids? Nothing but complain.
@AshleahShortcake2 ай бұрын
Lol Kody saying he has "six pack abs and great pecks" so seriously is the funniest part, especially since in reality he has a beer belly and male pattern baldness! Robyn is ok with Kody's deadbeat-ery because as long as her needs are met, she doesn't care about anyone else. Even in the attempt to make her look better during that "fight" scene, it was so fake that they were literally fighting in a shoveled patch of snow with the shovel behind them, it was totally scripted. And Robs claims to love Kody so much yet has no problem performing these scenes where he looks like an absolute crap bag just to make her look better. She's a narcissist too, she's just more covert about it.

I felt so badly when Kody forgot to invite her to the Christmas he did with Truely and Yssabel. When he’s comforted he actually looked surprised like…oh I’ll get to her later. So there catch up will put them one year behind instead of two. Kody needs to have an event where he invites all of them over. He needs to make a big gesture. Even if he only bought all the kids T-shirts. He could do something between Thanksgiving and Christmas. He should have a monthly potluck and whoever can come does.

Would you form a relationship with your child’s abuser when your child has never been apologized to or still, rightfully does not want to have anything to do with that person? Do you remember saying “Mothers will do anything for their children?” Janelle and Christine are keeping it classy. They will never come out and say some of my children were abused by Meri and until my children want me to have a relationship with Meri out of respect for them, it won’t happen. They just say they wish her the best. Over 15 years ago Meri was let go from her employment at a troubled teen treatment center. Places like that in Utah have been historically run in very authoritarian and even abusive ways with heavy use of corporal punishment. Is it possible that Meri’s discipline style was heavily influenced by what she was seeing on a daily basis at her work? Yes. Is that an excuse? No. I do believe the Meri we see today is a different Meri from the one we first met. With the perspective of time and the kids being older I think there could be some healing if Meri were to apologize, sincerely, and with the help of therapy. That could leave the door open for a future friendship between the OG3. I understand your wanting to see them have a friendship. They all shared a unique life experience. But, I wish you would stop advocating for an OG3 relationship without first advocating for a healed relationship between Meri and the children she was abusive to. I would NEVER pursue a friendship with someone who had abused even one of my children. I don’t think you would pursue a relationship with someone who abused one of your children. I have run out of different ways to advocate for my opinion that the abuse some of the children suffered at the hand of Meri is the fundamental reason we don’t see a Kumbaya moment between the OG3. I have to be led to believe that because you are aware of this having happened you do not believe it is a factor as to why Janelle and Christine do not welcome Meri “into the fold.” Respectfully this is the last time I will comment on this. I have previously cited Paedon Brown’s interview with direct quotes to back up my position. I really do enjoy your channel and your “perspective.” So, hopefully we can agree to disagree on this point.

My mother has always been like Kody. I can tell you that you strive for excellence and perfection in everything. Yet, she would only buy me 3 pairs of jeans and 3 shirts. The rest were hand-me-downs. I have no problem with that, but I was bigger than my sisters. Most of their clothes would not fit. By 12, I was buying my own clothing. By 16, I had to pay rent to my parents. I was busy every night, after practicing the piano. I was in detention for 6 years. I thought I was the worst person ever. By the age of 35, I realized that my teachers knew the abuse, physical and SA, and emotional. The only other recourse was calling DCF. Back then, that was not done. Keep in mind, I never said a word, despite being asked specifically. I never got in trouble for real things I did do. I had free reign of the school. If my homework was done, I could practice any of several instruments, the typing room where I made money typing, the art room where my pictures were always chosen for the annual Art Gallery Showing that no one came to, or prepare for the Annual Youth Symphony where I had first chair of any instrument I chose but no one came to listen (despite it being in the town that my parents grew up in and married)...you see where I'm going here. Oh, and I never missed my weekly piano lessons. I discovered that my teachers were protecting me the only way they knew how, to keep me at school until my father came home. It didn't always work. Sometimes I would come home and my bedroom would be torn apart. My dresser drawers taken out, contents dumped out, my clothes stacked on top of the pile, my mattress and sheets, all piled in the middle of my bedroom, stacked like a bonfire. For Christmas, my Dad got names to put on our bedroom doors. I also got a poster of a sow in a pig sty posted on my bedroom door. I was 12 when she did that. It stayed on my door until I moved out. For my 18th birthday, I was given luggage! I went to find an apartment, which I could afford. But, my father convinced my mother to let me stay until I finished school. For graduation, I received the rest of the line of luggage. This was a hint at moving somewhere out of town.
