Same thing with Kang as in both Loki and Quantumania he had some amazing monologues that were hard to dispute. But Kang unlike Thanos is not an alien brute and I hope they fully lean into what they were doing in Quantumania and have Kang come off as this “Jedi Type” with his technology and time manipulation.

Not really, the movie he was in flopped and the show he was in had low viewership despite it being headed by one of the most popular characters in the MCU. If he as an actor didn't help make money it makes no sense to keep him if he has a tarnished image that could further lower returns on production. Loki is one of the most misguided and overrated MCU projects. The show is both extremely shallow and a continuity cluster fest with poor, and actually disregarded characters. I think it's smart to have each Kang Variant be played by a different actor. It's a lot for 1 actor to play multiple variants. I can't wait to see who's going to play the Scarlet Centurion, Immortus, Rama Tut, and Mister Gryphon

I think Colman Domingo would crush it as Kang Prime (his Unicron voice in Transformers ROTB is something else). I would also like to see Keith David as Immortus, Aldis Hodge as Rama-Tut, Ncuti Gatwa as Scarlet Centurion and Sterling K Brown as Mister Gryphon. I didn’t mind Majors' "He Who Remains". Very fun and animated, but I wanted to see his darker, more sinister side as Kang. When we got it, it was severely overshadowed and made to be far less threatening when facing the Ant Family. I think this killed his momentum and the "looming universal threat" he was made out to be. I didn't like the other variant portrayals either (Victor Timely included) All this to say, I wouldn't mind a new face to cleanse the viewer's pallette and view of a "failed Kang"

John David Washington would've been my choice for a Black Panther recast. Let's go nuts and put Keith David as Kang Prime. Touch up his appearance in post production, and you have a commanding voice for Kang.

It sucks that actors get caught up in bad stuff and or do bad things; the talent that is wasted. Hopefully the dude redeems himself. Many in Hollywood lately have, Downey is a great example. I always wish the best for people and the guy who got replaced was a great actor, but if he did in fact do those bad things he’s gotta redeem himself and do better. We all all hopefully he can heal those hurt and make amends.

*I can see Coleman as Prime Kang, he has the acting chops to create a dramatic version of him, and a Caucasian version would be awesome, he could play the Live Action XMen Kang, with the crazy looks, he can be one of the last ones to defeat, being more powerful that the others, so you give him more screen time than the other variants*

While it's unfortunate that JM is no longer playing Kang, it is a smart choice for Marvel to have diff actors play diff variants. As for the 3 council members we already saw, they can easily just say that the TVA found and took care of those group of "rebels" while the real ones are gathering right under their noses 👀
