Thunderbolts has been one of my most anticipated MCU entires since it was announced. Big fan of most of the volumes of Thunderbolts. If Im being honest, they messed up Taskmaster’s character so much for me, i couldn’t care less at this point what they do. The big thing i have hanging on this movie is that they DONT make Robert Reynolds a one and done character. That would be unforgivable for me. I know there have been reports that he will be shelved for down the road a bit, thats fine. But if they make Sentry one of these random characters we never see again, i wont be able to look past that.

How well both the grounded thrillers will do.. entirely depends upon audience. If they always look for nostalgia and never move on.. they'll never accept the great things they do now and always spot out small to negligible mistakes. Just as Thanos said.

Captain America 4 is gonna be a massive failure whether it's a good or not, though it will be a terrible movie i guarantee it. Thunderbolts will be slightly better but still a bad movie. Typical sheep mcu fanboys will love it because of the formulaic crap and the elementary school jokes. Sentry was never anything special in the comics, and he will not be anything special in the mcu lol. Secret wars can't come soon enough to end this terrible 2 decades of formulaic bad mcu movies, so we can finally start the mutant saga. The only property that matters in marvel is X-Men and Spider-Man, the rest are bloated crap, including the highly overrated avengers (except for Hulk).

I also like how they haven't addressed his name in the commercials.. marketing 🤔

They have to relate to the normal humans.. regular individuals physically enhanced by the government before we further explore the "mutants" or "cosmic" beings living amongst us.. its more believable with Thunderbolts and Brave New Captain America movies.. before we get into full Marvel Lore

I'm glad "Thunderbolts" is getting good responses. I always thought the movie was going to be better than doubters were giving it credit for. Scrappy underdogs are always a good starting point plus they have more story leeway since they're nominally "the bad guys." This might remind people Marvel actually used to make good movies...

With Thunderbolts it has a cast stacked with leading man/woman charisma Especially Florence, David, Wyatt, Sebastian all can and have carried shows and movies. Hannah John-Kamen has that star charisma too. I just don't get it from Anthony, he's an amazing supporting actor but something, that leading man jenes se qua is missing. Brave New World may pay the price with Ford just owning the screen relegating Mackie to the background.
