Liberty guy here - yall got a good one. Kaidon has NFL talent but is an up and down player. He is an emotional player which can be great or lead to questionable leadership intanigbles. Shedeur was cool and collected always - Kairdon will get frustrated. He doesn't need a ton of time, and his stats will likely improve with better receivers and weapons around him. As good as our teams have been on a G5 level, the skill positions are just different with regard to catch radius and YAC. Good luck Kaidon and congrats Deion and Buffs

Juju is not starting, this was already thought out and explained to juju to sit the first year learn, and add a bit more muscle to take the pounding because he is a bit small because quiet frankly there isn’t much success to starting a freshman quarterback in the history there has only been 2 quarterbacks to go in as a True Freshman and win a national championship and that’s Jamelle Holieway from Oklahoma in 85 and Trevor Lawrence in 2016. Kaidon Salter is the starter he has the experience and now he has the weapons he should be able to replicate that 2023yr

Bringing in Salter will cause problems and drama with the quarterbacks. He’s not coming to Colorado to sit in his final year of eligibility. JU JU has been promised “the keys” to the program which was instrumental in his choosing to sign with Colorado. He was recruited to be the “face of the team”, Shedeur’s replacement! Somebody is going to hit the portal when it opens again! Will JU JU accept sitting behind Salter? Is it the plan to let JU JU develop behind Salter? How does JU JU’s parents feel about bringing Salter to Colorado?
