Like, the team that did returnal pretty good up until Sony started putting their thumb on the scale. They won't remaster bloodbourne but now want one of the studios with *THE* best reputations and one of *THE* best discographies. I played GOW on my gaming laptop. I'm not buying an entire ps5 or an xbox when I have stream. Sony is gonna make a crapton of FromSoftware games "Playstation exclusive" just how they did spiderman. Plus I don't think they'll do a good job. Look at Concord, look at Helldivers 2 (Well Helldivers 2 started sputtering once Sony put their thumb on the scale and refunds started coming in like an avalanche).

Liked for the time stamp but would dislike for the Sony comment if I could. Keep in mind apparently the whole reason there isn’t a BB2 is because of licensing limbo which this acquisition would actually fix. Also keep in mind that Sony is rumored to be interested in buying Warner Bros. So in the best time line we may not only see BB2 under this acquisition but also a Fromsoft game with the nemesis system. May those who allowed the system to be patented live a long, depressing, and painful life.

@@CommanderChris66 It's in licensing limbo because of Sony. There have been numerous talks about a remaster or a BB2 yet its been years and the best we got are emulators. If Sony buys From software then the games after what we have now from them are gonna be Sony exclusive. What's there to like about that? It's stupid. I'd be excited for any piece of work FromSoftware related as long as Sony isn't involved.

@ There has been demand from the masses not talks. There haven’t been any legit talks between companies since Fromsoft got bought out. You can Google this stuff. You’re factually wrong. Also if you know anything about the gaming industry you know the era of exclusivity is largely done. Previously exclusive games are being released on PC and XBox. There are a few games still on Sony’s lineup to be exclusive only because this era is fairly new and they’ve been in production for quite some time already. But going forward that age is done. We’ve largely entered an age where companies are putting profit first as compared to profit over time. So a lot of game companies are wanting their stuff sold everywhere. Which is also another reason why the Epic store is failing and even EA is in the process of releasing all their stuff on Steam as opposed to Origin.
