I use the Dewalt cordless hedge trimmers and pole trimmers and it took some getting used to. End result was it did as well as my mixed fuel trimmers just not as fast but almost no noise. I like the Milwaukee but already had Dewalt batteries.

I tend to like the hand clipped approach for most things with felco hand pruners

Hey Johnnie, I bought the Stihl version of this last year. Most of my OPE is Milwaukee, and I had never owned anything Stihl. It works great as a kit, and you also get the grass shear attachment with it. I wish Milwaukee would have added a grass trimmer attachment. Other than that it looks solid. I'm just from the old school. I have a problem with converting from traditional gas-powered lawn/yard equipment to electric/battery. I've had issues with the battery life expectancy of shop tools, have you experienced problems with the batteries not lasting long and to replace with a new battery it's almost as expensive as just buying a complete tool package? Guess what I'm saying, I'm not yet convinced on battery powered lawn and garden equipment.

Not sure which brands you’ve tried but Milwaukee makes great batteries. Should get years out of them unless they’re used under extreme conditions.
