Would you use a detail trimmer like this or just go with one big one?

I’d get one of these in a heartbeat. Lots of hedges are large and I would prefer the pole type trimmer, but otherwise this would be my go to

Nope, waste of money and inefficient use of time!

Nice! I was thinking it would be cool to have a holser on my zero-turn mower for this. I'm often ducking around some low branches or other overgrown items.

I have a lot if small shrubs to trim, and some topiary to do. This looks ideal! Already on the battery platform with the M12 Hatchet, which I find excellent!

I got it because its small enough to fit in my toolbox, I can quickly grab it to preform maintenance and it works well!

Great review! Fantastic little tool, but the kit's expensive. Bare tool in the $99 - $129 range would be great.

Agreed! I already have a few M12 XC 4.0's and I forgot to mention you can easily get an hour of runtime (Using off and on) from 1 battery.

That's good to hear.👊 I was on vacation last week and noticed that the screened in porch needed some sanding on the screen frames. Immediately I thought of the M12 sander and how it would be perfect for that.

Old Milwaukee's advertisement of 1/2 inch cutting ability is very misleading as you pointed out so well. Also, does this trimmer have a trigger lock?
@MarkThomasBuilder
@MarkThomasBuilder Жыл бұрын
I recall it has a safety button to release the trigger, but not a lock to keep it on. I don't think hedge trimmers, in general, have a trigger lock.

@@MarkThomasBuilder it was a good deal and size wise is perfect my wife loves it I wonder what I’ll do when the blades go dull in a year or so if sharpening is an option or replace blade

I just discovered a local sharpening service at our farmers market who does hedge trimmer sharpening. I'm curious if most hedge trimmer are able to be sharpened.

Are you kidding? That Makita is more than 8 and a half pounds and almost 4 feet long. Not really a good comparison.
