@@vincentcerrito6150OL should be fine with the moves made. Just need to stay healthy, and likely could bring back McGovern for cheap as a backup as well. I think LB will be a big thing next year if Sherwood doesn’t take another step forward and with CJ aging. But Quincy just got re-signed and was phenomenal and CJ is still doing solid and is a leader. I think they’re wanting to give Sherwood another season to show something.

We certainly won’t have a shortage of RBs lol. Camp will be competitive because there’s no way we’re going to keep them all. Would have preferred grabbing another wideout, either Troy Franklin or Johnny Wilson, as well as either a safety, IDL, or IOL. Hoping there was a method to this late round madness. Altogether though, I’m happy with this draft. Olu is a promising player with a Grade A personality and work ethic, who is coming into an awesome tackle room. I think in due time he can really grow into that D’Brickashaw Ferguson level left tackle which is AWESOME. Corley, while not a complete receiver, is a certified weapon, and his RB/WR versatility kind of makes these RB picks even more puzzling now that I think about it. Travis has a lot of potential and is a gamer, and I think sitting behind ARod and Tyrod he can learn a LOT. Don’t want to assume that we can turn a 5th round QB into a franchise guy, but I think at the very least they can turn him into a competent bridge QB for when Aaron retires, and he certainly has the upside to be more. I didn’t look much at the RBs this year, but I’ve heard a lot if buzz around Braelon Allen and I think his running style will complement Breece’s well. Just wish we would’ve saved that other RB pick to fill out our depth on another position of need.

I thought they might double up on recover but I am more than fine with this. Our RB room was very thin and Izzy just didn’t look the part last year. Now we’ve got guys that can be complimentary and fill in for possible injuries as well in a year where we are going to need to establish the run when we hopefully take early leads and give the defense much needed rest they could never have last year.

Douglas is 27-56 in 5 years as Jet's GM. All his draft picks. Jet fans get excited like this every year until they actually have to play the games. You can have the best player's in the league but if you don't have the right coaching staff in place you get no playoffs in 13 years soon to be 14!!

With all due respect, I can't see how anyone can get excited about an NFL draft. Who knows how well any of these players are going to do in their NFL careers?? Most will fail, and fail miserably. Look at the Jets 2021 Draft: Looked great on paper. AVT is still on the rooster: He's a good player with a history of injury. Michael Carter II and Brandon Echols are still on the roster and that's it. Everyone else is gone.

And here it is....Joe Douglas' anual draft day brain fart. WHY??? He gets too wrapped up in trades and overthinking things too mutch. This pick makes no fracking sense. With needs at Safety, Center, DT, and now Edge. This is just one of many reasons why the Jets haven't made the playoffs in over a decade.
