It's a hella of a truck for 1/4 mile runs and that is about it...I think they should have made the TRX the next Viper truck and just went street with it... I think it's a good idea for Ford to have the 3.5 HO Ecoboost as an option. There's nothing wrong with it unless you're EXTREMELY traditional. That being said, the V8 is a bit of a must, and I wouldn't mind seeing Ford offer a (yet unseen but easily done) high output variant of the 7.3 and then maybe the Predator. IF Dodge wants to have a compensation contest that no one asked for or needs, Ford may as well show them how to do it.

I like the tail lights of the new Raptor and the F-150 in general, they took inspiration from the 2014 1st gen model Raptor, which was such badass truck as well. I am totally satisfied with the 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.3l 2.7, 3.0, 3.5l EB engines n Escapes, Edge, Explorers, F150s etc but for Mustangs, Raptors, Ford GT big NA, SC V8 are MuST... Anyway these are low volume products compared with mainstream machines.. so why not go all out on these. Biggest fool out of big 3 is Ford. They ve some f best engines, but worst product managers.. always gives stupid combos

@@raionshishi8290 Yes.... but its not sustained.. The lack of competition is the big reason why Ford was making progress. With TRX in scene Raptor is history. With C8 Corvette at bay Ford GT is over expensive and not worth. Its all going downhill for Ford. Ford stock is just 33 USD while GM is 58 despite Nikola issues. Shows Ford is underperforming despite having best individual components which are foolishly sorted for customers. Ford actually needs 1.5x current sales volume to be best of Big 3.

Why not two engine options? Supercharged V8 and a upgraded eco-boost. Everyone wants a V8 in these trucks but the eco-boost is more than capable for this style of truck.

Yes, so Ford I s making a good move. Give what people want that will never off road and give what real off-roads care for.
