Coach Prime getting the last laugh. Last year at this time, his haters thought he couldn't turn the Buffs around. Fast forward a year later, and they're battling for a playoff spot late in the season, are already a lock for a good Bowl, just scored the top QB in the country for the next several years, etc. If I was Coach Prime, I wouldn't take an NFL coaching gig in Dallas/Jacksonville/etc. He's got a situation where HE is the most powerful person in his football world up in Boulder, not Jerry Jones or anyone else. He's rich enough that he doesn't need to chase the highest paycheck. Instead, chase the best situation. Taking the Buffs from a total doormat to national champion in a few years against all odds? THAT would cement his coaching legacy at the highest level, whether he ever coaches in the NFL or not.
