Even if the Ravens went out and got a pass rusher....that rusher would have to be on the level of Wyatt, Bosa, Crosby, etc....for it to even be helpful. None of those type of players got traded today. A team has to trade a player to us for us to get him. Unless we get a like that player then we would just be getting another player. The corners have been just as worst as the pass rush this season.

I disagree with you on Tre’Davious White trade. I believe that adding secondary help was a smart move. If you have a strong secondary that locks up the opposing receivers then it gives the pass rushers more time to put pressure on the opposing QB. That is honestly the defenses biggest issue is getting pressure but it was due to the fact that opposing receivers were effortlessly getting open. I feel like you place White as our slot corner or number two guy, the defense will turn around significantly. Just trust in the process. If pass rush was truly a problem in the front offices eyes they would’ve made a splash for a pass rusher

We could have the best secondary in the NFL but if you give them time, they will get some separation! Now if we got help in pass pressure, no need for a monster like Max, just anyone who can help collapse that pocket and force a quick throw into tight coverage, it's not sustainable, they will over/underthrow most of those! KC just did that to Mayfield, forced quick throws into tight windows, guess what happened? Lots of incompletions! Good pass rush bails out an average secondary Bad pass rush will make even the best secondary look bad The best move would've been some help in the pass rush, anyone who can get consistent pressures

I think with this trade, it adds even more flexibility to the secondary. Maybe we see Stephens at safety in some packages and white at outside CB. And if the defense improves and Stephens does solid at safety, we could have white more at outside corner sharing time with Wiggins and have Humphrey on the other side.

This is the same repeat history between Mahomes and Lamar. BOTH of them are the Brady and Manning of this era and it's going to be like that for awhile. Patience is important and Lamar is going to win a SB for Baltimore eventually. Be it now, later, or down the line. You guys want to see big moves you would be better off watching the games. Because I always make my determinations after the 10th game of every season how a team is going to look going forward. Thursday Night Prime time at home the Ravens face the Bengals. I think simply other teams had a very inflated asking price OR refused to eat the majority of the contract for a prospective trade candidate. I am also quite disappointed that we picked up a DB when could've also pursued a premier pass rusher, but I do think your being a little to critical of our pass-rush, considering we're 5th in the league with 28 sacks, and you honestly can't expect a defense led by Mike Macdonald and possessing Jadeveon Clowney to be better than a team without Clowney and Queen and a first year DC Zach Orr to produce 60+ sacks again. We're doing much better than I thought we would, but I understand and respect your opinions and am hoping for a defensive breakout for the rest of the season! This ISN'T a great trade! Our pass rush is virtually non existent, give a qb and wr 4 seconds and they will find space to make a play, regardless of how good a cb you have! That's literally what we do, extended plays, Lamar drops dimes! Pass rush was the move to make, didn't even have to be a great pass rusher, just someone who can create pressure and force quick throws in tight windows, even an average cb can make that work!
