Im a ravens fan, and our pass rush is the reason the secondary sucks. We got sacks on bad teams early in the season. Now we never do unless it’s a coverage sack.

@JSatty I am too and I disagree 🤷🏽‍♂️ pass rush doesn't prevent dbs from dropping interceptions or communication issues. The issue hasn't been that they're in the right coverage and then it falls apart, they start the play off out of position. Pass rush could surely help reduce the amount of time they have to do their job but I think the talent in the secondary is poor. We could use a ball hawk (White is not) who would get more turnovers and be better at looking for the ball. Our dbs are just not executing this season. I still blame Orr because he's responsible for getting them game ready every week but Humphrey seems to believe otherwise

@@terrencemoore8739 I see both sides of the argument. However, doesn't matter if you have a top 5 pass defense. If the pass rush can't force the QB to make a throw, then the WRs have all day to get open. We just proved that with the Broncos. They have Surtain (my opinion the best CB in the league), with one of the best pass defenses with him (ranked 5th). However, they couldn't get much pressure on Jackson and he just maneuvered in the pocket until someone, usually Zay got open. Our DBs are good, not great. Our pass rush is below average and its a problem. Pass Rush should've been the priority. Maybe we couldn't get one, that's just how it goes. DB can't hurt though.

@showtime5152 ravens have the best offense in the league though. There's only like 3 other teams that can score to that level. I think the games we lost were due to blown coverages and miscommunication more than too much time in the pocket. Pass rush should have been the focus because then you can have a bad secondary and still survive but the Ravens decided to get another #1/2 wr so the plan seems to be to run up the score every game. I think they can still with a Superbowl if they outscore the chiefs

I get it making splash trades in season just isn’t a part of the raven way as we like to take care of ourselves for the future as well but our window is now. Henry isn’t gonna be running like this forever and Lamar is another year older at some point we need to Dip into the future to win now otherwise we’re just a really good team every year that can’t win a Super Bowl

I think we should sign quentin jefferson on the dl and mile edwards at safety they both just got cut and are solid depth guys who could help fill in formthe loss of michael pierce and add safety depth since we keep havinf break downs either way we have alot of talent on defense basically the same group that was best in the league last year minus clowney unfortunately ojabo hasnt developed as well as expected but its not like we got bums out there we just need zack orr to figure out how to clean up the silly mistakes💯💯 if we do that we could get bavk to being a top 5 defense for the rest of the season

Shut up "we need a pass rusher" dudes. 5th in sacks 7th in QB Hurrys, 7th in QB hits 12th in pressure % Sure. There is room for improvement. Tell me a team that doesn't need something. Yes, the opposing QBs are getting some time in the pocket, and getting pressure and pass defense go hand in hand, but i guarantee that by the bye week, our pass defense will at least be top 15. Run defense is already amazing.
