@@luzbarrera5299 I agree. Thankfully Ed did a lot of interviews in the past so future generations will hear his voice and understand his work

Man thats heavy news all around. The shop closing is a blow to tattoo culture/history in itself but hearing about Ed is shocking as that post is first ive heard anything about it. What foresight on Eds behalf to have so meticulously documented and curated his artwork, his career and his life in general. I saw a few months back that Taki has taken the reigns for Hardy Marks publications, id Imagine it had something to do with ghe news of Eds condition? Idk Eds wishes or anything that goes on behind the scenes, but to be honest im a little suprised that nobody is is taking over the shop? I wonder if maybe his son just didnt want to? Probably the least of thier concerns at the moment just something i wondered about. Wishing Ed and his family all the best though, ive never been to his shop or met the man, but ive enjoyed not only his personal works but things hes been involved in showcasing other legends who deserved to have thier work/legacy put out for the world to see.👏🙌

Beautiful commentary. Ed Hardy a genius loved the history and development of tattooing. A wonderful curiosity about art allowed him to really look at and into Traditional Japanese tattooing and write and publish books about it. What a talent Ed Hardy is and has meant to the tattooing community. A true personality and human being. Exceptionally bright and articulate.
