Personally, I have incurred about $25000 in debt over the past year as a single mom, just trying to make ends meet and accruing interest and borrowing more to pay for that credit! I have NEVER had this amount of debt. At most, it has been about $3000 over about 8 years! I cannot even buy groceries half the time. I have to borrow from my ex, whom I can’t pay back! Now I have to work with a debt consolidation company to help me negotiate everything. I am stressed to the max with collectors calls and letters. Meanwhile, seniors will only receive a 3% increase in their COLA which amounts to about $60, half of which will be sucked up by Medicare. The rest will go to the increase of just one of my other insurance plans... and I'm a very healthy person who takes no prescription drugs. That means that I won't have a penny left to put towards just the increase of all of those other things on Mr. Kennedy's list. I'm far from alone in this debacle. Notice how every single thing Mr. Kennedy mentioned increased by more than 3%, yet all we are going to get is a measly 3% on an already very low monthly? We get LESS monthly than they are giving illegals, which from my understanding is about $2,200 per month. Not to mention all of the other perks they get that we pay for but don't get for ourselves. Plus we are paying for the pensions for those in the Ukraine! They are screwing us left and right!

You are definitely one of my favourite American senators. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1975 from Saint Lawrence University while on a hockey scholarship. I've attended law school for one year 1984 in Fredericton New Brunswick. I listened with great interest to politics. I am very saddened by the state of this world Senator Kennedy. I logged you as one of the great ones amongst us. Why? You speak the truth and seek the truth and the Savior said the truth will set you free! I hope you will read prayerfully The Book of Mormon which is another Testament of the Lord Jesus Christ Divinity and fulfilment of John 10 verse 16 where he said other sheep I have not of this fold and they too will hear my voice!❤

Sad to say that when Mr. Kennedy yielded there was probably no one to hear him. I would think that this comment came at a time when there were no Senators in the chamber.
