We have an important story coming out of the negotiations between Israel and Hamas, namely, each side is seemingly agreeing that neither of them will control Gaza. The retired ex-head of British army is very concerned of a world war featuring Russia, China, and Iran. Also, Iran is said to have all the parts now that are needed to construct and send a nuclear weapon to Israel, it’s just a matter of time.
From these headlines we are going to learn a couple of valuable lessons, namely, what the Scripture says and what it does not say, as we will clear up a couple of popular misconceptions that have been proclaimed by so-called “prophecy specialists.”

The deal is still far from completion and will take work to arrange the many complex details.
This is very interesting news! It would be great for Israel if this could be worked out. Hamas must really be hurting to even consider this. We know that their military is degraded and that the smuggling tunnels into Egypt are all in the process of being destroyed. It would seemingly take years for them to get to a place to repeat October 7th ….
There is also the benefit of dodging a war in the north. Will those in Netanyahu’s coalition agree to this? It could bring his government down…
We know from Scripture that any sort of agreement would only be temporary, and that Israel will not have any lasting peace until Christ returns. However, there is always the possibility for a lull in the action. In other words, we know where everything is going but we do not know specifically how things will get there.

Patrick Sanders, the recently retired chief of the general staff yesterday issued a blood-curdling warning to Britain’s defence establishment in which he argued that the West has only until the end of the decade to rearm sufficiently to ward off a Russian attack on Natosoil which would trigger a World War III-style conflict.
The ex-head of the British Army also claimed that ‘the new axis powers’ of Russia, China and Iran represented a greater threat to the free world than Hitler and the Nazis did in 1939 as ‘they are more interdependent and more aligned than the original Axis powers were’.
Notice it’s Iran, Russia and China who will be this axis of evil. We know from Scripture that two out of these three nations will be involved in the Ezekiel 38,39 invasion, Russia who leads and Iran.

MISTAKES 27, 28, 29, 30 THERE ARE FOUR COMMON MISTAKES MADE WHEN REVELATION CHAPTER 9, THE TWO HUNDRED MILLION MAN ARMY, IS EQUATED WITH REVELATION 16, ARMAGEDDON
Four common mistakes are made when equating the two hundred-million-man army in Revelation 9 with the campaign of Armageddon in Revelation 16. First, the two hundred-million-man army should not be understood as a literal human army. From the context, it is clearly speaking of a demonic army. Second, the two hundred-million-man army mentioned in Revelation 9 is not referring to the campaign of Armageddon recorded in Revelation 16 which is speaking of a literal army. Third, therefore, it follows that the “kings of the East referenced in Revelation 16:12 cannot be equated with the two hundred-million-man army. Finally, the fourth mistake is equating the “East” in John’s day as a reference to the Far East-namely China and Japan.
