I think that depends on a number of different factors. It’s one thing if Joe Scientist ET is here collecting rocks to take back to his Alpha Centurion lab for study. It was stated during the hearing that the House Oversight committee was *denied* access to the Sensitive compartmentalized information facility (SCIF) - effectively blocking their access to the bulk of what Grusch can testify to. Who/What entity controls access to the SCIF that Congress typically uses? If it's DoD, I would say that is a huge conflict of interest given the circumstances.

It sounds tough, and what you're alluding to is true (Matt thinks they all should have clearance) but he/they actually DID have a discussion and Luna and Burkett did not have the proper level of access, Matt did. What the exact difference I dont know, but Matt did mention he's been on Armed Services Committee for 7 years, so that may be what raised him to the security clearance level. I kind of get it, with hundreds of congressmen and constantly in and out, I can see how this is more of a "need to know" type thing. Luna is in her 20's and only months in to her term as a congresswomen. Matt actually could get in trouble for describing the classified information, obviously don't want that to happen, but democrats will seize anything they can. They're ruthless and relentless, and republicans are just whipping boys who take it and dont fight back. I'd love for that not to be the case, but the 1st hearing they had about this, the guy opened up the proceedings with a moment of silence for "white supremacy" I kid you not, an embarrassment but is what it is.
