Whistleblower David Grusch is admonishing Congress for what he says is a "total failure" to get more transparency about what the government knows about unidentified aerial phenomena. Lawmakers took a step toward transparency by including in the annual defense funding bill a provision requiring disclosure of classified records relating to UAPs, but not before stripping out key portions of the measure. One of those provisions would have established an advisory board to oversee the records disclosures. Grusch joins "Elizabeth Vargas Reports" for a wide-ranging interview.

I am now 70 and I saw a UFO (with a witness) for over 45 minutes, while serving in the RAF in the mid 70's. Since that day, I have followed this phenomena with fervid interest and wonderment. David has brought us all to the cusp of a game changing event. I feel this is a slap in the face of some extremely brave and honourable men. At the very least, the world is finally taking this more seriously. I never reported the one I saw for fear of ridicule and losing my job. That's how it was back then. Many younger folk won't appreciate that, or in fact, what David has actually done. It changes all that. My hat is off to you for giving it your best shot. I once knew a fellow RAF airman who has since passed many year's ago. I asked him if he had ever seen any ufos whilst flying, and to my surprise he paused and then sighed and said "Ahh well I'm an old man now what are they going to do to me now.." And then he said he had seen one. He relayed a memory of his from the 1950s of flying over the sea heading back towards land (UK). He his squadron were flying in formation and then suddenly out of nowhere a massive silver disc craft appeared and flew alongside them. His commanding officer ordered them to observe and then maintain radio silence. He said the craft darted in and around them with lighting speed and then as they neared the coast the silver disc craft took off up into space at an unbelievably fast speed. He said when they landed they were all interviewed later at great length by who he took to be government intelligence. He said they were told not to speak of it to anyone again. After leaving the RAF he enjoyed a long career in the film and television sector and counted people such as David Niven and Peter Sellers as his personal friends so this gentleman's service record and the rest of his career gave no reason to ever doubt his story. He never mentioned it again but I noticed when he became ill and his belongings were being cleared out of his house that he had an enormous telescope that he must have been using to obviously keep looking for the visitor to his fighter squadron all those year's ago. He passed away some year's ago now with no relatives that I know of and had become a total recluse and very lonely. A sad end for a man who had lived such a varied and amazing life.

I know what you mean. However, the nature of reality is not classified. The nature of reality can be "seen" between any two modifications of mind (thoughts), just as the string of a bracelet can be seen when there is a gap between the beads or pearls. The training then is to interrupt thought activity for just a moment. Then two moments and so forth. When there is only this space-like gap and no thoughts, rest in that inner peace. When this state is lasting all day and night, the nature of reality will become self-evident. It is evident even in an instant, but most will not recognize it. From what I can gather, this would mean that people working directly on these highly classified SAPs would start to publicly acknowledge elements of reverse engineering programs and knowledge of NHI outside of a more carefully planned disclosure process. It's debatable exactly what Col. Congress if I recall correctly had other people besides Grusch privately testify and they said that they have credible evidence and testimony to what is going that was also put into the language of the UAP disclosure act. And there's more there are also government documents going way back talking about the investigation of unidentified flying objects. Most encounters actually are of the military and government officials not citizens in their backyard. This is a thing that has been going on since the 1920s. In 1995, I had a girlfriend who told me about a weird experience she had (when she was about 11 years old) in Boulder, Colorado in the very early 80s when it was a tiny town up against the mountain. Her mom had woken her up and taken her to the window where they stood staring at a classic ufo literally resting on the ground at the base of the mountain in the middle of town. It was silver with a row of lights rotating around the center. They stood there for several minutes(?) in a sort of trance and the mother eventually said “let’s go to bed” while the UFO was clearly still there. The next morning the mom asked if she remembered. She said yes and the mom said “let’s not talk about that again”. She drew me what she remembered the craft looked like. She hadn’t talked to her mom about the experience since it happened. I dropped the subject. When her mom visited, I sat her down and asked her to tell me what happened back in Boulder. She hesitated, but then said she was driving back home from a party way on the other side of town when she saw the UFO at the base of the mountain and she freaked out! She drove like a crazy person way out of the way to avoid the UFO, then she came up to her house and just remembers getting her daughter and the two standing there and the rest is identical. I had her draw the craft and it was identical to what the daughter had drawn for me. So what was the UFO (and any possible occupants) doing in the center of that small town in the middle of the night? One can only imagine. Did/Do they do this to lots of other small towns in the middle of nowhere even today? --- More details: She described Boulder back then as a tiny town with literally one street running from the mountain & straight through the little town. If you were a mile away on the ground and looking at the town, you’d see the UFO (classic saucer shape, large metallic shell, a row of white lights moving along a line running horizontally across the center of the craft) apparently on the ground right in the center of town and right against the bottom of the mountain. Over on the right side of town was the house where my girlfriend lived back then. The mom was coming back from a party way over on the left side of town and, when she saw the UFO, she freaked out and instead of driving right up to the UFO, she made a right, drove a bit to get away from the ufo, made a left to cut across and then made another left to go to the back side of the house. She ran in and picked up her daughter, my eventual gf, and carried her to the window to look out at the UFO. At that point, they both seem to have gone under some kind of a trance, the mom said, “Hey, , let’s go to bed.” And they did, etc. With a freaking huge UFO in full view of their house! I will try to find some photos online of Boulder back in the early 80s. This was before the “Mork & Mindy” tv show came out and then the town exploded in size. She really wasn’t “into” this topic of high strangeness. She was a lawyer. I really don’t want to call her to get more details because she didn’t end the relationship in a particularly nice way. She’s a complicated person.
