My dad and I personally saw it happen last week at the DMV. We were in a window directly next to an illegal who didn’t have a birth certificate, a social, or any paperwork proving who they are, but yet he got a license!!!! No joke, we couldn’t believe it. Especially bc my dad is 67 years old and just found out his license has been suspended for the past 16 years because he didn’t take ONE class after his first and only DUI. The DMV will not allow him to renew his license all the sudden bc of this one class from 15 years ago that costs $800 and he lives off social security and can’t afford to take a class from 15 yrs ago, and he doesn’t even drink anymore 😂 so my elderly AMERICAN BORN father left not being able to get his license, but the illegal next to us got a license with no proof of who they are. For all we know that guy has gotten several DUIs!!!!! Who knows?!! Needless to say, we were beyond pissed and flabbergasted. Our own country treats illegals better than citizens who have lived and worked here their entire lives. It’s so sickening I hate even talking about it.

Explain to me what The Aegis System has to do with a drivers license or with voting rights please. So, I have received two anecdotal stories and a system made by Lockheed Martin, I have not received anything documenting Garland’s plan to allow migrants to vote. I am being serious. I have looked for evidence supporting the OP’s claims. It just doesn’t exist. Unless someone can point out the policy or program, I just cannot believe what the OP asserted. I’m not doubting the anecdotal experiences or that occasionally (by occasionally I mean extremely rare) a migrant slips through the cracks but as an overall policy? It’s nothing more than an attempt for some political actors to make people scared and angry. BTW - there are migrants who are here legally, on work visas and are allowed to drive. For example, a nanny from the UK is here on a work visa and driving is essential for her to do her job, she is not a citizen, yet she is allowed by law to have a driver’s license. I’m not disputing the OP’s claim about non-citizens being allowed driver’s licenses or work permits. My dispute is with the OP stating non citizens being registered to vote and asserting that “Garland said it would be racist to not let illegals vote” that is simply incorrect, statements like that are an attempt to make people upset and feel like they have been wronged or that migrants can get a,b & c - why can’t I?
