The details may still change but it is mooted in the Facebook groups that the first run of jars has been removed from sale. Not sure why. Will you continue to purchase from Yankee Candle? Are you a serious jar collector? Let me know your thoughts.

I like apothecary jars, but I might actually prefer a flat lid, as one can stack them in storage. I have limited candle storage space and a stackable jar would be helpful.

This is a real concern. They do take up so much space. I will try 1 to see what the new wax formula is like. I think serious collectors do feel part of it is the whole jar experience. I think for people who just like to burn candles, the only concern is the new wax formula and scent strength.

Personally, I'm super excited for the changes, and I'm not upset at all. Yankee large jars have been a disaster for years now and the lack of throw has cost Yankee Candle to lose thousands upon thousands of previous fans. Many many people have stopped buying Yankee large jars totally because of the issues with performance. I've been one of the people begging Yankee to change over to dual wicks in their large jars, which they're now doing. Okay, they're also changing the shape of the jars but I don't care about that. I only care about throw and performance. I fell in love with the Elevation candles a few years ago and I believe that they are currently the best candles that Yankee makes because I can actually smell them. I've been told that the wax formula used in the new large jars will be the same formula as the wax in the Elevation line. So it's all good for me. I can't wait to try the new line. And by the way, there will definitely be tumblers. You can actually go onto the Yankee.com website and you'll find the new signature collection on the website in the two wick tumblers. I was checking out the range earlier today so it's definitely there.

Yes this is true. The 2 wick large tumblers are there. I am excited to try the new wax recipe. I agree 100% about throw and scents. I am doing a follow up with some information for UK/EU purchasers, from a Yankee representative. Thanks for watching the video and your great feedback 😀

@@MoonWitchsLair Excellent, and thanks for making these videos. I can't wait to try the new large jars. To be honest, I haven't been a fan of the tumblers in the past because I also think that those have a very weak throw. I get no better throw from those than from the traditional large jars. What do you think of the tumblers? I'm definitely keen to get my hands on the new large jars with the dual wicks to try those. I'm praying for better performance and throw. Look, all other brands (from Goose Creek to Village Candle to Kringle) use dual wicks in their large jars so there must be something to it. I have a feeling that the throw from the new Yankee large jars is going to be an improvement on what we're used to. Anyway, I'll look out for more of your video's. Looking forward to those. :-)

Thank you so much. I try to make honest videos. I don't get on with many fragrances but always give an honest review of strength, throw, etc. I can't afford many large Yankees, so often work off tarts and votives. I have a few varying tumblers; Witches Brew, Haunted Hollow, Forbidden Apple, smal Alpine Mint, Christmas Cookie and several Vineyard ones, but not actually burned any other than a Witches Brew which had zero throw. If Yankee want to send me one early I would be more than happy to review it for the UK audience 🙂

Well, I guess I think I do like flat lids as it is so much easier to store. The classic design with the rounded lids take up a lot of space when it comes to storage. If they have improved the throw on their new candles and most consistently throw well, I'd be rather happy no matter the jar. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Yankee!

I actually agree with you. Last night I was putting away some of my candles and sadly they are being stored on their side due to space. One of my US Yankees had leaked oil, not something we tend to have a problem with, with our UK versions! And I thought, if they were like the 3 wick B&BW candles, storage would be so much easier. The US scents of the new Signature Collection do sound really nice. The large jars are smaller at 20oz for around the same price. I will also be interested to try them but fans don't seem too happy. In the UK we have some very cheap brands that have flat lids and a similar shape and I think people think the design looks cheap. Early days, as you say, interesting to see what the future holds for Yankee!

I heard from someone in the USA that no the illuma lids won't fit and that they are a shorter burn it think it takes the large candle down to about the same amount of time as a medium jar. I kind of like the new shape, but not happy that they are changing to two wick. Really I don't see them anything now than another shape of tumbler 😞

I think this is the issue. In the UK we have flat topped jars that are often bought in cheap discout stores with candles of questionable scent in. I have an update filmed so will post that but the information is conflicting at this stage. Thank you for watching and stay tuned for the update 🙂
